Offers plates or to-go boxes with a sample of many West African stews and other dishes, most of which are completely vegan. The owner is super friendly and fully understands what veganism means. There is also a store attached to the restaurant where they sell a variety of African items that is worth checking out.

First of all, the food was excellent and the service absolutely amazing. You could even tell the owner how much food you want on your plate, she’s really nice and explains all the dishes as well. I’m a bit confused why the place isn’t rated as fully vegan because I thought it was, better to ask then I guess. Otherwise would give 5/5.

Had a great lunch experience during the week. Super friendly & helpful staff, quick to serve. Good for either take-away or have lunch inside, they have a few small tables set up with a distance. You just order vegan or non-vegan and get a huge plate full of delicious and filling African food (almost everything is vegan anyway). The price is good, and oh boy are those puff pancakes amazing! Highly recommended place, nothing bad to say, really!

The flavor, the enviroment, the friendly service, even the customers were super friendly and as if it was not enough the price is good 79kr for the food. A super good experience. Serves meat but the most is vegan. The lady who attended me was very kind she mentioned that it is possible to offer catering too. Read moreI have been coming here for years. As vegan living in Lund for ten years, you can trust me when I say that this is the best place for a hearty meal that never disappoints. Sure, you get pretty much the same mix of beans, rice, millets, veggies, sauces and “pancakes” – but there are subtle differences. The fresh homemade chili sauces could (and should?) be sold by the jar!
As an initially very sceptical friend of mine exclaimed when brought here: ‘If I could swim, I’d go swimming in this peanut sauce’ – because that’s just how good it is.
There is always complimentary coffee and tea. Try the mint tea with freshly grated ginger!
This place is friendly, has really good value for money, a nice relaxed vibe and is very welcoming to all who steps through the door,
Also, one of the posts below say that there is no outdoor seating – but that is wrong! They do have outdoor seating in the summer time. If you think it is warm enough to sit outside, just talk to the staff and they’ll put out tables.

African Daily is hidden in a sweet little corner shop and has a daily buffet of different rice dishes, bulgur, baked bread, sauces and veggie stews (all amazingly seasoned but not too hot, besides the home-made lemon-ginger-chili sauce which waits on each table). You get a great variety of flavors on each plate if you like. All but one of the options are vegan, and the cook pays close attention to allergies. She is such a lovely, welcoming person who informs you about all the dishes if wanted. I would have selected five stars, unfortunately that is not possible for a non-vegetarian restaurant on this app. Yet, I highly recommend this nice place for a tasty lunch! For larger groups (of students) she also offers (private) evening dinners and catering.
