Yummy afghan food - Edit
This is not just a restaurant it's also a community space, the owner (Khano) opened it to provide a space for the community to hang out centred around food, there are prices, but it's largely pay as you feel. I love a place with a great ethic like that, there's also a community board where people offer and ask for help. Worth sticking around for a chat
Read moreAs for the food, just ask him to give you all the vegan dishes, they're all delicious and don't forget the Bolani (flatbread filled with potatoes or other vegetables) and the paratha is great too!

The food was okay and you get a lot for your money. The last time I went the person behind the counter couldn't speak any English. I didn't feel comfortable ordering as he didn't understand that I was vegan.
Read moreUpdate. Went back today and they have changed the menu display and it was a lot easier ordering and reassuring that I was having a vegan option. The food was filling and tastier than before. Lentil and kidney were very good.
