A classy & elegant fully vegan restaurant situated not far from Huahuiyuan metro station. Entrance is by stairs on the side of a residential complex. Modern Chinese cuisine with an emphasis on mushrooms and vegetables. Has an extensive menu which may include truffle rice, tofu & mushroom stew, skewers, avocado Temaki, soups, plant-based yogurts. Ordering and payment by QR. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-10:00pm.

Beautiful restaurant but read this if you’re navigating here 😅 - Edit
This place was a little difficult to find. The address shown on HappyCow took us somewhere completely different, so we added the correct location in our review photos for anyone using DiDi. Definitely check those before you go!
Read moreOnce you actually find it, the restaurant is stunning. It has a peaceful, Zen-like vibe with lots of plants and modern décor, plus separate private rooms for dim sum, which was a really nice touch.
We tried many dishes, and our favorites were the nourishing soup, stir-fried pepper mushrooms, cauliflower with cumin and the pine nut lettuce cups. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and beautifully presented.
They also sell a variety of vegan products — little desserts, dried fruits, soup bases, sauces, and more — which was a fun bonus.
Overall, I definitely recommend this spot. It’s absolutely worth the effort of finding it!

Exceptional dining - Edit
The only vegetarian restaurant that closed at 10pm. We are served with warmth feeling at home dining experience with wonderful service. We arrived quite late at 9pm and last call at 9:30pm. We ordered some food but added a couple more and they still take our order thought it was already past time. Foods are very delicious, a recommended place to dine till late.

hidden but worth a visit!! - Edit
a lot of mushroom based dishes but even if you don't love them you should be able to get around it quite well - but i personally especially loved the mushroom skewers that we tried.

Hidden gem - Edit
In quite an obscure residential area, accessed via a few minutes of a dark and narrow ascent from the metro station (and a few more confused minutes of looking for the entrance, see pic), lies this wonderful gem, pure vegetarian, bright and elegant, that I had found on the Chinese happy cow (素食雷达).
Read moreIt offers tons of dishes, many of them based on mushrooms, as well as veggies, beans, tofu and avocado which is quite rare around here. A few desserts too, although not the strongest part, their yogurt (soy I think) is quite refreshing. Dishes are generally less greasy and heavy than the usual Chinese dishes but still filling and the portions are generous.
Prices are reasonable for a med-end venue and the staff is very polite and attentive. Their English is limited but ordering by alipay/wechat is seamless and the translation works well.
Pros: Delicious, healthy and varied food, Good prices for the quality, Great service
Cons: Might be difficult to locate entrance
