Small but super nice restaurant in Hamburgs Wexstraße.

I took the Krautspätzle with smoked tofu and it was very tasty and filling.
Definitely not my last visit 🤤

Die Spätzle waren sehr lecker und es ist toll das es bei vielen Gerichten eine vegane Option gibt! Preise sind auch sehr fair. Als Stuttgarter wünschte ich mir ein solches Restaurant auch im eigenen Schwabenländle :))

We visited here in 2020 and I remember I had vegan Spätzle with cheese, which were quite good. When I came here a few days ago I ordered Spätzle with lentils, as I was told by my Swabian company this is a traditional dish in Baden Württemberg. It was absolutely not my thing. The lentils tasted sour (I generally enjoy lentils) and the Spätzle didn't have much taste, I salted them a lot. Next time I will order the cheese Spätzle again.

You can have traditional south german dishes here made vegan and the portion sized are very big (i always have to take half of it home). It's a very small space tho, so you may want to book in advance depending when and with how many people you wanna go

We really enjoyed our visit. We had the lentil & spätzle with vegan sausage and the ‘cheeze’ spätzle with smoked tofu. plus some beers. The people were very friendly and helpful. you also got a free salad starter. everything was clearly labelled. recommend a visit here for something hearty and filling.

[EN] This is a nice spot for vegans who want to try some German food in Hamburg. I chose a classical version of käsespätzle, which was good and very cheesy. Unfortunately, the cheese was not that good, and I know there are better vegan cheeses available on the market, so replacing the cheese with better tasting one would be a much better choice. My friend chose spätzle with sauce, and the sauce was definitely too salty.

[PL] Jest to niezła miejscówka dla wegan chcących spróbować niemieckiego jedzenia w Hamburgu. Zamówiłam klasyczną wersję käsespätzle, która była dobra i bardzo serowa. Niestety, ser nie był tak dobry, a wiem że są lepsze wegańskie sery dostępne na rynku, więc zamiana sera na jakiś lepszy smakowo byłaby znacznie lepszym wyborem. Znajoma wzięła spätzle z sosem i sos był zdecydowanie za słony.
Obsługa była bardzo przyjazna i pomocna, a lokal serwuje duże porcje jedzenia i piwa, co jest ogromnym plusem, bo nie wyjdziesz z tego miejsca z pustym żołądkiem

Many dishes are available as a vegan option. I had cheese spätzle and they were fantastic, almost too much for me. The portion sizes are a little too much, but that's not a complaint.

Wir haben uns zweimal die veganen Käsespätzle bestellt. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und wir haben es nicht geschafft, konnten es uns aber einpacken lassen. Insgesamt waren mir die Spätzle etwas zu flüssig, aber der Geschmack war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und das ganze Lokal ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gab im Allgemeinen eine sehr große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten und als Nachtisch sogar einen Brownie mit Mangosorbet.

They offer traditional dishes and you can order all of them vegan - so I was told. I opted for the vegan “Kasspätzle” with onion. The place is super cozy, I was lucky to get a seat outside. I was expecting a bit more taste wise. I’d go back, only to try other dishes from the menu.

Read moreThere are many different varieties to choose from, all of which can be made vegan. I opted for one with sauerkraut, which was delicious. All come with a side salad that was nice and fresh, with an in-house vegan dressing.
Portions are very large and affordable at around €10.
The restaurant is small but cozy, some of the tables are very close to each other so could be difficult for some people. Staff are friendly and service quick.
