Lovely place but average food - Edit
The staff is professional and forthcoming. When we ordered one vegan and one vegetarian mezze plate, they put the non-vegan elements separately and adjusted the proportions. The mezze plate is a fair portion that doesn’t make you feel heavy. The interior is very cozy and carefully decorated: more for a date than a business dinner. A wide choice of good drinks and even vegan baklava. The only problem is… the food. It’s a bit bland and stale. It could do with some salt, pepper and fresh lemon juice. Only the home made pita rose up to my expectations. If you are looking for the full experience of a restaurant , this is a solid place, but if you’re in it just for the flavor, you’re better off at FLFL.

Heerlijke pita's! - Edit
Za'atar is een super leuk restaurant, met heerlijke gerechten. De pita met aubergine was super. Ook de pita met hummus en paddestoelen! Het restaurant is knus en gezellig.

Tasty food at a cute place - Edit
I've been here once to have dinner and we had the vegan sharing platter. Something went wrong with our order as I ordered a platter for 2 but we were served just a platter for 1. So we eventually got a second platter for 1 after finishing the first one.
Read moreThe food was very tasty and freshly prepared. You take your own drinks at this place and you place your order at the bar. We also had two small pieces of vegan baklava for dessert. They were tasty but a bit dry. Although we liked the food, there was one sauce in particular which covered the roasted cauliflower that really put us off. It was a sauce with preserved lemon and it tasted really weird and kind of ruined the cauliflower.
Pros: Tasty sharing vegan mezze platter , Reasonable prices , Cute place

Relaxing vibes, good food! - Edit
You order up at the bar, and can grab your own drinks. Very relaxing vibes, and great atmosphere. We ordered the Vegan platter for two, definitely enough food for big eaters. (If you order extra bread)

Cosy vibes, tasty food - Edit
Delicious vegan plate with mezzes to share. Cosy vibes and interior. You can grab drinks yourself, and even open your own wine bottle (they even have smaller bottles), which I like

Delicious Mezze plate - Edit
An hidden gem with a delicious homemade assortment of Mezze. For dinner, we shared Mezze plates, which is an assortment of all kinds of delicious vegetarian small dishes: baba ganoush, Muhammara, hummus, falafel, roasted cauliflower, olives, fried aubergine with mango spicy chutney ...
Read moreThe "regular" Mezze contains white cheese, labneh and a yogurt dip but there is an option for a Vegan plate.
You can also help yourself with fresh loose tea. A real pleasure.
Beware that the place doesn't take reservation and that you might have to wait a bit to be sitted, but it is definitively worth the wait.
Pros: Delicious , Everything homemade food, Friendly staff
Cons: Not fully vegan
