A debacle

It must have been 7 years since I first visited this place. It felt like a secret party, as the location was quite concealed with curtains, to the point you couldn't tell from the outside that it was a restaurant at all! Good times were had at Yuc Mexican (and also at their sister restaurant, Yuc Latasian), but then again, that was a while back.
My latest (and last) visit took place in April, and it was basically a series of errors, mistakes and plain negligence. Firstly, their starters were terrible, as both the corn and the cauliflower lacked sauce or oil and turned out to be extremely dry. I suppose their so-called middle courses were ok, but there's no way one can get full by simply picking a mere 2-3 dishes. To be fair, that (cash-in) strategy is widely used in the Stockholm scene these days, and I find it deceptive to say the least. I'd rather pay a bit more and have the guarantee that I'm actually getting a main course.
On a different note, and probably using covid19 as a pretext, they recently decided to go cashless. That alone would be quite a no-no in my book.
Should I mention the loudness of Yuc, both on the part of the restaurant and its guests? Let's just say they seem to have followed the example of places such as Urban Deli, choosing to be more of a disco than a restaurant or grocery shop, respectively. If they're willing to alienate some of their customers in order to attract a more hip clientele then that's their deal.. but I'm out, that's for sure.

Mexican tapas

Several options for both vegetarians and vegans. 5 vegan starters, 4 mains and 1 dessert. S few more if you are looking for vegetarian only.
Really tasty food, friendly staff, good service and nice atmosphere. On the downside was the price. You need 2-3 dishes per person and each are approximately SEK 130. The music is also a bit loud for a restaurant.
