“Meh” at best

I’ve lived three blocks away from here for over 11 years. I’ve only gone into this place about four or five times and each time was a mediocre experience. The coffee isn’t great and while there are vegan options for food, they aren’t very impressive or tasty. There are so many good food options in the Bay Area and in Oakland why waste your time on a place that just smells bad and serves mediocre food?

Pros: It’s close

Cons: Mediocre coffee, Mediocre food, The cafe always smells weird

many vegan options and friendly people

Many salads and sandwiches that are vegetarian and easily made vegan. Friendly staff, and Alternative Baking Company's vegan cookies for 2.50$, a good deal! I was happy with my almond milk chai. I will be coming back, I feel so happy to have this treasure in my neighborhood!
