So good! - Edit
I've been to Wildseed's Palo Alto location a couple of times but finally made it to the San Francisco location after a fun visit to the museums at the Presidio (highly recommend!).
Read moreWow, our meal was so good!
We shared a winter pizza which was so dang good. I loved the crustiness of the crust, the thin slices of pear, the tempeh bacon. So delicious.
We also shared an Oklahoma Smash Burger which was also great as were the fries.
It was wet and cold out so I also enjoyed an oat milk latte. Nice and strong and it hit the spot.
I'll definitely be returning when I am in San Francisco!
Pros: Excellent food, Friendly server

Great lunch in S.F.! - Edit
So happy I came here. I got the tomato and pepper bisque as well as the fall pizza with brussels sprouts Tempe and pears. It was phenomenal! I’m not sure what some people are referring to as some dishes being hit or miss especially for the price because even though I only had two things they were both Five star. Excellent! I would definitely come back here and try multiple other things on the menu. sadly I’m only visiting, but if I lived here, I would be back here pretty often!

Good enough - Edit
Not bad, but overall not too impressive. Specifically, I found some items to be underwhelming and the price pretty high for the dishes.

Best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in years! Loved the mezze plate, fritters, skewer, ravioli and chocolate cake dessert. Prompt service. Nice decor. Buzzing atmosphere. 1000% recommend!

Delicious! - Edit
Came for restaurant week! Which is an excellent deal cuz u get to try more items. $60.32 otd including gratuity for one! Kale salad, corn fritter appetizer, pasta entree and choc cake n ice cream for dessert. Everything is made from scratch using FRESH, local produce. You can really tell the difference in quality of the food from the usual Sysco restaurants. Definitely worth skipping taco bell 5 times to eat her once! 😂🤤.
Read moreCorn fritters 10/10 cleaned the bowl. Kale salad 9.5/10, loved the addition of dense chewy farro grains for added mouth feel and satiation. Cream cheese frosting w toasted hazelnuts 10/10 - Choc ice cream n cake 7.5/10. Orecchietti Alla Pugliese 6.5/10 more veggie forward then pasta. Red chili flakes spicy. I ate all the vegan sausage and pasta shells. To be fair the pasta, sausage and cheeze sauce were fantastic. I would choose another pasta next time. Packaged up the remaining veggies n cheese to go, for later to be eaten w rice at home.
Vibes: in fancy part of town. U can come dressed up or down (SF usual). I sat outside in nice patio and enjoyed the ppl watching. One of those places where u can linger and catch up w a friend or date. I ate solo 5-615pm Saturday night and enjoyed my experience. Would recommend!

Top Vegan Dining in San Francisco 🌿 - Edit
The best restaurant we had in San Francisco! Everything was bursting with flavor — we literally didn’t have a single bad dish. Every bite was incredible and perfectly seasoned. A must-visit spot for anyone looking for creative, fully vegan food done right.

Excellent dinner - Edit
It was nice to sit outside and eat a fabulous vegan meal while watching the Union St parade of people go by. Our server, Tiffany, was attentive and full of great recommendations. We had the charred artichoke to start. A bit skimpy on the aioli sauce. My partner had orecchiette alla pugliese with the beyond Italian sausage and I had the corn ravioli in the truffled fans milk bechamel sauce. Both were fabulous! We topped it off with the cheese cake and chocolate cake - yum! Expensive but worth a splurge!

The environment is amazing and staff is nice! The food is delicious but expensive. The French toast was sooo good. The fries are a great starter and the herb aioli is tasty. The paella for 2 was the showstopper, super tasty!

Great find - Edit
First time on Union Street in years. Still decently vibrant. Decided to treat after my chiropractor session.
Read moreLunch time Wednesday not too busy
Seat indoors by the window.
Heirloom tomato salad with falafel. Tomato and corn in season. Decided for health. Salad was delicious, refreshing, loved the dressing since I'm usually just balsamic at home. Falafel soft inside and crunchy outside was a nice complement. Tomatoes but the spot and corn was sweet though I was spilled by great corn on the cob right off the farm this past weekend.
Maybe pizza next time. No extras or drinks despite the available choices.
Chocolate beet cake as dessert. Great choice for chocolate lovers. Presentation was a failure but tastes awesome. Second choice would have been peach tart.
Only one waiter with server help!! Bartender pitched in at one table. Still decent attention
Pros: Fresh ingredients, Creativity
Cons: Expensive, Parking

Great Place With Typical SF Problem - Edit
Great food, friendly staff - and suffers from the common SF food problem of being way too expensive for the portions. So I’d mainly recommend Wildseed for a special occasion unless you’ve got the 💰

Veggie forward and lovely setting - Edit
I really like that Wildseed’s menu is diverse—bowls, salads, pizzas, and other apps/entrees that feature veggies very prominently. And their restaurant is a delight to eat at. Cozy and great service.

Nice Place, Great Pizza, Amazing dessert - Edit
I stopped by here for lunch. It’s a nice airy restaurant with lots of patrons. I had their pizza which was incredibly good. Big enough for me to take home for tomorrow’s breakfast( note: my userid is slikespizza). The dessert was out of this world. A rich, moist chocolate cake with mousse inside and ice cream and cookie on top. A vegan must visit.

Pretty good but limited options without onion and garlic - Edit
I love the restaurant and I don't wanna give 4 stars but I asked for a sattvic diet option and they only had 2-3 options. One was Harvest Bowl, the other was a salad and then fries (without the sauces).
Read moreThe food was good. The harvest bowl didn't have many spices, so it was mostly just boiled/steamed veggies.
The ambiance was good. There's non-alcoholic drinks and the dessert was really good too!

Great menu options - Edit
This is an all vegan restaurant with lots of options. Seasonal items, pizza, pasta, salads, burgers. We had the Mezze plate (roasted red pepper hummus, feta, eggplant & fire grill flatbread). It could have been a stand alone meal. Our entree was the paella for two. It was great with fresh asparagus, snap peas, cauliflower & sausage. Atmosphere of the restaurant is busy & a bit loud. Recommend reservations. Would go here again.

Excellent - Edit
Wildseed is an absolute gem in San Francisco’s plant-based scene. The flavors are creative, vibrant, and deeply satisfying — even non-vegans at our table were blown away. We loved the Forest Pizza and Mezza appetisers, and the juices were just as thoughtful. The space is warm and stylish, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a vegan spot that nails both the food and the experience this well. Can’t wait to return!
