I appreciate its 100% vegan, however I’ve had better vegan sushi at other places including non-vegan restaurants. I had two rolls that didn’t have mock seafood (I never liked seafood and now don’t eat mock) so maybe for folks who miss seafood those rolls are better. I felt the flavors were decent but could be better and it was all one texture. I would go back but I’m not in a hurry.

Sometimes things don't live up to the hype. The same thankfully cannot be said for this East-Colfax eatery, conveniently situated on south side of City Park. Wellness has not only become a fast friend of vegans from near and afar; it's quickly (and deservedly)carving out a space as a Denver institution in its own right.

I have ordered from wellness sushi several times and it is always so incredible. Non-vegans don't believe me that it's fully vegan. The rolls are a great size, ingredients are fresh.. I'm obsessed.

Wellness Sushi has such an array of options based on what you like- and they do not disappoint!! The presentation and flavor were incredible, staff was friendly and helpful, and cute seating indoor outdoor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My partner and I were blown away! All food is vegan, and there are many new menu options after their grand opening last weekend . We got the ohnagi roll, hot flamingo rolls, krunchy krab roll, ebi tempura roll, royal potato roll, and the fiery philly roll. They were all incredible! Really felt like we were eating "normal" sushi, not just sushi off a vegetarian menu. I also like their aburi oshi, torch pressed, rolls.

This place is awesome… The food was tasty. The tables and floor were not that clean, however. Also, it would be great to have more choices that do not have nori… (not a fan of the fishy taste). Nonetheless, it was well worth the stop here for lunch.

I was trying to decide where to eat in Denver and so glad I decided on here. Everything I had was delicious, ordering was so convenient, service was so quick and staff was very helpful, and the location is beautiful inside and super convenient! The menu is expansive, so you have plenty of different options to choose from. Also… vegan SPAM?! Life changing.

This place was unique and fantastic. Had a steak teriyaki Origiri and the tamago natto oshi and both were great. They have a solid variety of food! I tried some of my friends’ plates as well and it was all great.

Read moreWe went with an ebi tempura onigiri, a hot flamingo roll and a smoke sake roll. I really don’t have anything to say other than I wish this place wasn’t so far from me. Zero complaints and according to my omni boyfriend it’s the best vegan restaurant he’s been to ever and you’d have a hard time telling it’s not vegan.
Apparently they’re the only CO restaurant in Yelps Top 100 food places and it’s very well deserved.

Been to Wellness Sushi multiple times. This place is delicious sushi with a twist, and everything I've had is absolutely delicious! They now have just added Gluten Free Ramen to the menu. I can't wait to try this! A must go to if in Denver area!

Wonderful Place to have in Denver - Edit
This place is authentic in the way the food is prepared, cooked, and served. I wish the restaurant was bigger, but it doesn’t stop me from going monthly (sometimes weekly). Eel made from eggplant is pretty awesome. The ohnagi is just phenomenal. The ramen selections are delicious and creamy. The Shoyu has imitation shrimp that you know is made with love and care. The attention to detail on the cuisine makes this place a must eat if you’re visiting or living in Denver. Thank you, Wellness!
