I died and went to heaven. - Edit
I had been craving donuts for months. I usually get my fix from Whole Foods, but the location by me hasn’t had them in months. I finally made the trek to Voodoo and I’m so glad I did. The donuts are huge and soooo good!! I just went with regular glazed and one Portland Cream. Exceptional. I’m obsessed. I paid 8 bucks for the 3 huge donuts, so I consider that to be a pretty good price as well.

Love these guys but they only gave me 11… - Edit
I was soooo excited to go to one of my top 3 doughnut shops in the country, and I usually go to the one in Austin but this one was just more convenient, and they only gave me 11 doughnuts in my box!! I didn’t realize till I was a good ten minutes away and by that point I figured they’d just think I ate a doughnut if I went back so much later. Anyway, I’m sad about it because I love them so much, and their filled doughnuts (like the peanut butter jelly one and the Boston cream pie one) BARELY had any filling, and/or it was all on one side of the doughnut. Amazing Treat! - Edit
We drive 2.5 hours to get to this store. It was worth it for the experience and the vegan doughnuts. We splurged and bought a pick-your-own dozen. Bethany, the doughnut expert, made sure all our choices were vegan and told us they survive in the fridge. The Apple Fritter was a religious experience and exactly what I remember from my youth. The Voodoo Doll was filled with wonderful raspberry goo. The Maple Bars filled with cream tasted glorious. The Dirt doughnuts were a delightful surprise; a doughnut dipped in vanilla frosting with Oreo crumbled on top.

Yeyyy for Vegan Donuts! Lots of Vegan Donuts! - Edit
Personally, I feel like they VD should be able to get a 5 star rating since if you call ahead they can make any Donuts vegan. When I stopped by this morning I had 5 choices. The shop is so clean and magical and bright- open early and very late! The girl at the counter was a little grumpy but girrrl, I get it. You're at work at 8 am Saturday and I'm out eating Donuts! I talked to another woman (maybe a manager) who was so kind and friendly. But THE DONUTS. I took a bite of the Boston creme in the parking lot and it disappeared within 10 minutes driving home. It was THAT good. Can't wait to go again!
