This is a people's kitchen in a youth center. People's kitchens are historically social institutions where volunteers meet to interact, cook together, and offer vegan food to everybody who wants it (and especially those who need it) at a very low price (EUR 1,50 here).Be ready for punk style, hearty vegan fare and possibly interesting discussions. NOTE: Maybe closed August 2024 - please send updates to HappyCow. Open Mon 19:00-21:00, Wed 19:00-21:00.

Eine linke, vegane Hochburg mitten in Hannover - Edit
Das Essen kostet 1,5€ und es gibt hier für alle das gleiche, aber dafür schmeckt es und ist komplett vegan hier.

Really good KüFA (Küche für alle) - Edit
This is not a restaurant, but good, extremely cheap food cooked by volunteers, often from partly rescued ingredients. If you are a bigot, you should steer clear of this place. Otherwise, it's great.

Pros: Extremely cheap, Usually really tasty-one of the best KüFA's I know, Idealistic people striving for a better world
