Some accidental vegan options

It is nice to have a place where you can eat after visiting the National Museum of Nairobi. There are as mentioned a few options like ‘vegetable sandwich’ and ‘chips’ which could be made vegan. Staff doesn’t know what vegan or dairy is so make sure to specify things like ‘no cheese, no butter’ and anything else that may seem needed. Quality is okay, not the most exciting options.

Great for the atmosphere

It's a simple cafe in the national museum territory. They have all kinds of hot drinks, some savory dishes, sandwiches, fruit salad, etc. There are no vegan markings on the menu, so it takes a bit of effort to ask the staff what's vegan. However, the cafe is worth visiting only for the atmosphere as it has outside seats and you can sip coffee in a calm environment surrounded by greenery.

Pros: Great environment

Cons: No clearly marked vegan dishes
