We shared a Vöner, which was super tasty snack for two people. It was super full, but we still found a spot after a bit of wait. The overall political vibes of the place were very much in line with veganism, which we liked very much.

Read moreI usually go for the Vöner - previously the plated version with fries, which is a huge portion, last time in bread. I prefer it as the plate I think because you really get the taste of the veat and sauces.
My friend had the seitan burger, which was tasty - the sauerkraut was delicious and worked well on the burger.
Self service: order at the counter. Cash and card payment possible.
There are 4-5 seats along the window inside, a few tables outside or you can take food to go.
Note: the ice cream shop next door has some vegan ice cream options.

Ich war früher gelegentlich in der anderen "Filiale" der Vleischerei. Jetzt zum ersten Mal in Konieczny. Es ist fast food, aber verdammt lecker. Leckere Soßen, Pommes, Gyros. Ich lieb es! Essen ist, selbst wenn nur eine Person hinterm Tresen ist, schnell fertig. Alles routiniert und nice.

Leider keine Toilette. Toilettennutzung im Westwerk gegen 50 Cent-Stück möglich. Dort jedoch keine Seife. 😲

Der beste vegane Döner - Edit
Mehr muss ich nicht schreiben. Wenn ich mich an die Zeit von damals erinnere, als ich noch den herkömmlichen Döner (mit Falafel oder Saitan) gegessen habe, war der nicht Mal ansatzweise so gut wie der Döner in der Vleischerei. Selbst wenn ich nicht vegan wäre, wäre das sicherlich meine liebste Adresse für einen guten Döner.

I have to be honest, I was planning on getting the chili cheese fries and was disappointed when I came and saw a sign that said “Keine Pommes” (no fries). I don’t know if it was just the day I came or always.

Main con is that it’s outdoor seating only. In winter time this means better to get food to go.

Der Food-Truck ist sehr beliebt im Leipziger Westen und das zu Recht! Es gibt eine Auswahl an Burgern, Vöner und Gyros (leider keine Pommes) - all vegan! Sonntagabend muss man daher manchmal auch ein paar Minuten warten.
