unfortunately i didnt like the pindasaus at all (and im a peanut LOVER), maybe oorlog (mixed with mayo) wouldve suited me better. the cheese sauce was ok, but then the combination of both was horrible.. the fries themselves r simple, nothing special.
if i went there again, id probably ask for vegan oorlog met uitjes.

Went there today and paid 6,20€ for a medium size position of fries with vegan mayo. I think the standard prize of 4,95€ would be great if that already included a sauce. Staff was friendly and quick. Nice of a snack or a late night.

Had the Broodje Kroket (Croquette Burger) with the mustard sauce, was quite nice but a bit too spicy for my taste 😅 The bun was nice and soft, the croquette quite crunchy on the outsite.

Im not sure I would ever give a “chippery” anything more than 4 stars. And I most definitely wouldn’t give one that wasn’t fully vegan anything above 3 stars. Having said this, Vlaamse Frites Snackland had a good selection of sauces and did its job in the end. Some satisfying chippies.

Place was super crowded every time I came past. Finally decided to bite the bullet when the queue was a bit less long. Didn't take too long either, they are fairly fast.
Read moreThe frites are really good, I had them with the oorlog sauce combo, which is mayo (specify vegan, they have both), peanut sauce (sort of like satay sauce) and raw onion. The kroket was ok.
All in all, I think the place is good but a bit overhyped with the constant crowds, given that there are other good frites places around. Also unfortunately not fully vegan, seems they could mostly just replace the remaining non-vegan mayo-based sauces.

I come here every time when i’m in Amsterdam. I like that they are so good for the climate and don’t promote it that stuff. When standing inside the shop you can see that this shop is powered by green electricity from windmills, which is so dutch haha.

Late night snack - Edit
With not many options open late, I saw this place was open and decided to walk to it. Ordered a large fry and had them put some vegan cheese sauce on it. I also got a croquette which was good. Items are clearly marked on the menu.

it’s a must to get these fries while you’re in amsterdam, the line was super long and the food was good! but as there’s no where to sit down i was a bit annoyed that i had to walk with the sauce and the fries, im a tourist so i want to take pictures when i’m walking around

I was really craving a night snack and apart from McD (where I didn't want to go) it was one of the only places still opened. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan choices and clear labels. The fries were freshly fried and really hot - so all in all a great place for a night snack😄
