Fabulous Burrito - Edit
I sought this place thinking I was finding a chain but it was a small place being run by ‘everybody’s mum’ behind the counter, she is awesome . Totally got my being vegan and out came my burrito. I could have easily eaten two. Sent me away with churros to go. Burritos are my favourite

Had a big vegan burrito here, my wife had the rice bowl and others in the family had the quesadillas. There were other vegan options available to try, but we were too full!

Great Mexican Cantina - Edit
I went into town on the elliptical bike and had to scrape a few jaws off the ground as I whizzed by. Sunny day, shades on. Nipped into Bjorn&Magnusson in the Hay Market to collect a lovely ‘Home Sweet Home’ wall dec which I ordered online. Dropped off the elliptical at the bike park and headed straight to my fave Mexican cantina located just off the square.

The proprietor is absolutely superb and makes you feel welcome and valued. As a vegetarian herself she knows what’s what when it comes to the vegan option - you’re in safe hands.
I had an excellently chunky vegan burrito with refried beans and vegan cheese. Good price for it.
Remember to get a loyalty card and swear your fealty to Lord Burrito.

The couple was extremely friendly, the burrito had a very good texture. It had a fine taste. The vegan buffalo wings were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, the dip accommodating it perfected its taste, it was so savoury. The nachos were very good. The churros were the best part. It was perfect and you can tell it took skill. The vegan chocolate dip was so velvety and rich and the restaurant owner gave me a free extra churro. The atmosphere was very traditional and very authentic.
