Buffet with range of options - Edit
Popular place so had to wait for a seat. Eventually got a table by the door which customers felt that closing was optional on a cold December night. Friendly staff. Buffet style but some meal options. I went for the Shepherds pie expecting half of what was in display but got all of it. Not realising this I also had the mushroom soup which was tasty and sides of mixed veg. The pie was disappointing; it didn’t keep warm very long and the meat alternative was one of the least enjoyable I have had. Mixed veg was good.

Don’t leave without an icecream lolly!! - Edit
I was slightly confused by the experience, especially the pricing, but the staff were very helpful. My husband had the buffet and I had the delicious vegan lasagne and a salad. The turmeric butter was unusual and tasty. I was on the way out before I noticed the ice creams. I almost left without one, but I’m so glad I didn’t. The pistachio lolly was the nicest vegan icecream I have ever had. Great experience overall and it was lovely, cool and relaxing in the garden area.

Staff deserve a sixth star! - Edit
The food at Village Green was delicious. There was a wide variety to pick from both hot and cold food which I ate plenty of. The crowning glory, however, was the incredible staff. I was served by a lovely American girl, which meant that I was able to communicate easily (I don’t speak Hebrew!) and she was so helpful and chatty. The ease of vegan food in Isreal has been incredible and I feel spoilt.

They have a vegan buffet and you can put as much on your plate as you can fit on there. Also they have multiple sorts of soup, pies, cookies and muffins.tje food is really good and it's very hard to choose because everything looks so good. The prices are really good compared to the rest of the city. There's a very good atmosphere and the people are very nice. They love to help you make your choice.

New and improved! - Edit
The last time I had been to Village Green they were still on Jaffa St and not vegan yet. I checked out this new and all vegan location and was totally impressed! The buffet is affordable, very wholesome and healthy, and delicious! The dessert I tried (peanut butter chocolate pie) was out of this world!!! The coffee was good too. I ended up getting a whole second meal to go for dinner.

The food is ok, nothing that blows you away but for what you get, it’s too overpriced in my opinion. Has some nice sitting areas - outdoor and in.

Soups are OK. Forget the "hot" food. - Edit
Had an early dinner here and got two soups and one buffet plate to share with my partner. For the buffet, you pay 44 shekels for a small-ish plate and it's all you can eat. So do feel free to pile it on (as much as you can finish, of course) to get the most bang for your buck.
Read moreSoups were not bad because they tend to keep well. The side-bread we chose was pretty good too, albeit a little bit on the dry side. The vegan butter did come in handy. However, the "hot" station was kind of gross. Everything was stale or dried-out, bland, and barely lukewarm. They looked like they'd been sitting there for days. The highlight of the meal turned out to be this third-party popsicle they were also selling on the side.
I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. If you must though, stick to the soup and get one (or two) of those refreshing popsicles on your way out. This is a 2.5 rounded up to a 3.
Pros: great popsicles
Cons: blah "hot" station

More Items And Exprmsive - Edit
The placed merged with their location from Yoffo Street. Mostly a buffet place. A little pricy. Not much choices fir raw salads or non cocked foods. Nerd to expand their salads, vegan, and non cocked/raw food items. If you are looking for raw foods or salads I would go somewhere else.
Read morePros: Friendly., Close to Ben Yehuda Street
Cons: Pricy/Expensive., Not enough Dakar options., Needs more vegan and raw food options.
