Great spot for lunch - Edit
I was in Mexico City for a few days for work and this place was right next to the office. There are so many options and never had the same thing for lunch twice. Lots of different fillings for your burrito on offer as well as hamburgers and chilli dogs, it was all great. The also have a selection of cakes. It’s a bit tricky to find intially, it’s in an underpass under the road. They have a few seat or you can take your food away.

Best horchata and tacos - Edit
I had a lot of trouble finding this place and almost gave up, but I’m so so glad I didn’t. It ended up being my favorite spot my whole trip. The creamiest horchata and the most savory tacos. Find the underground walkway ... you won’t be disappointed!

Great tacos! - Edit
Viko is a vegan yet authentic taco stand, with options ranging from chorizo and pastor, to sautéed vegetables and mushrooms in green mole, and as all great taco stands, they make a pretty good salsa. Any vegan, vegetarian or carnivore wanting healthy yet delicious street food will be satisfied with Viko. But remember, it is a street stand in a tunnel beneath Reforma, so don't expect to be too comfortable.

best taqueria ever - Edit
Viko is the most authentic delicious taqueria in existence, and does it completely meat-free. All home developed recipes using all the available vegan proteins and extraordinary Mexican spices and chiles. A three day trip to Mexico City warrants at least three separate visits to Viko. Get three assorted tacos (pastor, tinga de setas, and alambre recommended) and a burrito (campechano con queso recommended) and the best horchata you’ve ever tasted.

tasty food in a rather hidden place - Edit
I came here after my visit of the anthropological museum (there are even more reasons to come to this corner of the city, such as the Chapultepec castle/hill/park). Since I read about the underground location here on happy cow, I didn't have much trouble finding it; otherwise it might be much harder.
Read moreSince it has the specific location in the underpass, it is not too inviting for sitting. Nonetheless I would warmly recommend coming here, maybe taking the food to go and sitting down upstairs/outside/in the park.
The guys working there are very nice and the food was tasty and affordable! I had a seitan burrito can which I can recommend :)
In total I paid a bit more than 70 pesos for the burrito, a drink, and two muffins (for later).
Pros: nice people, good, tasty food, cheap
Cons: surrounding, but easy to solve by sitting outside

This stand is found underground near the entrance to Chapultepec park. We had 6 different tacos; campechano, alambre, pastor, setas mole verde, setas mole rojo and tepanyaki. Each one tasted different, and all were delicious. I also had the best horchata I ever had! Highly recommend this spot

GREAT VEGAN STREET TACOS - Edit
So the stall is in the underground walkway for pedestrians... I spend part of a day looking for the old location ... but it's under the roadway! There are 6 seats. Great tacos. They even have all vegan sushi.

great little spot - Edit
Was happy to see the other review explaining that Viko is down in the tunnel. Once I knew that it was easy to find. There are a few seats if you want to eat there. Was interesting to see tacos, burritos and sushi on the same menu. I ended up getting a mushroom burrito with a spicy mole sauce on the side - which was very tasty and packed a good punch. I was completely confused when I was asked about a drink, but just said yes since I knew it would be a vegan adventure. It turned out to be a deliciously creamy iced chai type beverage. The burrito wasn't huge like it would be in America, but for under 50 pesos for everything, it was quite a bargain!

Tried to find the place for 30 minutes, and failed. It seemed like it was located outside below the Bancomer tower but that location shown in the photos here is under construction. The folks at Bancomer tower said its not there anymore? Not sure..

Hey, I had the same problem until I entered the subway/tunnel under the paseo de la reforma. It can now be found in this tunnel with various other omni foodstands. I already sent in the update to happy cow :)
