Busy but quick kitchen - Edit
The best pizza and dessert in years. I had a mushy bowl, note it is a cold pasta salad dish with baby kale and mushrooms, I was a bit surprised. The mushroom pizza was veganised and tasted great with truffle oil and rocket. The dessert looked all appealing, I took the orange mousse with ganache, it was creamy,sweet, orangy delicious. Along with a shot of their lemoncello it was amazing. The place was very busy, reservation is advised.

One of the things that is both wonderful and frustrating about Utrecht is how lively it is every night.
Read moreEven on a Monday night every place is packed and crowded; when we went in without a reservation the only seats that were available to us were the tables in the front room with no backs, for us super uncomfortable seating.
Our waitress was lovely and helpful however as were the multiple vegan options. There might be something a little lost in language translation but I believe she said that it was a vegan restaurant made vegetarian a short while ago. So many of the cheeses etc. are vegan.
And let me tell you, vegan cheeses in the Netherlands are freaking amazing.
We got the deal in which you got a pasta or bowl, a full-size pizza with a side.
I have to say the pasta was my favorite, we got the puffy perfect Papperdelle, so good I felt like fighting Chandler over it. The pizza was delicious as well tho' and the Greek salad with vegan feta was delectable, haven't had a Greek salad that tasted like that since I went vegan many years ago.
The service was great, the food was terrific, the only thing that we would change is making a reservation so we could get a seat in the other side of the restaurant where the seats have backs.

I like that they use seasonal ingredients in their pizzas, salads, and pasta. I also like that everything is vegetarian by default, and a lot can be made plant based by asking. The food tastes good and is a reasonable price for hand made pizza.

I love that they make Neapolitan style pizza here and they do it very well. I think the pizza dough is very good. I love the vegan pepperoni. I once ordered a salad here, which was nothing special and a very small portion size. Was very disappointed. Also the pizzas are expensive if you ask me. I don't order their pizzas anymore just because they are so expensive, which is a shame because they are delicious. The desserts are overly sweet in my opinion.

It’s sometimes unclear which items are vegan, especially the pastries. Also, the taste isn't consistently good and the pastries are quite expensive for what you get. They change their pastries regularly, so they might taste different from how I describe them in my review.
Read moreThe items I liked were the cocktsils, the Grilled veggies and No pepperon pizzas, some pastas, pulled mushroom sandwich, lemon tartelette, almond croissant and the first version of their vegan cheesecake (very creamy and with red fruit topping). It's a pity they don't have PB ice creams anymore. My faves were Blueberry, Passionfruit and Oreo (so creamy and tasty!).
Some pastries are quite good, e.g. mango/coconut and rhubarb cheesecake, pistachio croissant, chocolate tartelette, banana bread and limoncello mousse.
Bakery items I didn’t like were: cinnamon roll (too dry), carrot cake (too sweet), lemon cake (too dry and firm), pear/ginger cake (weird and too strong ginger taste), choco/raspberry pie (too strong choco taste) and tiramisu (too heavy).

I’ve been here several times now and their pizzas never disappoint. The 4-cheese vegan pizza is so creamy and flavorful. Their highlight is the authentic crust. All their bowls and salads are very much recommended as well. Same goes for the desserts. I especially like the vegan cheesecake with rhubarb!

A trendy italian that proves you don't need to serve meat/dairy to be a good italian. Love the alcohol free pornstar martini and the different home made lemonades. I have had the fig pizza, the muhamarra pasta, spinach ricotta ravioli (all vegetarian) and really enjoyed it. For dessert I really liked the tiramisu, although it is not the traditional version.
