Makes vegetables, basmati rice, integral pasta, veggie burger, soya steak, tofu and seitan sandwiches, burrito, pancakes, fruit salad, juice, and ice tea. Note: closes at 4pm during off season, but remains open until midnight on busy nights in high summer. Closes seasonally - check ahead for hours. Open Mon-Sun 09:00-22:00. Closes Seasonally.

This fantastic oasis of delicious vegan and veggie food made our day when visiting Split. The lady who cooks is a whirlwind, whipping up fabulous treats at top speed. This is brilliant street food. The problem is really that there is not enough room for everyone who wants to stop here and enjoy! I hope that the obvious popularity of this place encourages her to expand and give all us vegs more chance to eat her food. Prices are great too.

Super friendly staff even though it was clear they were veeeery busy! We had a seitan sandwich and burrito- so good and filled with grilled veggies. Very affordable as well. Recommended!

Delicious! Food was fantastic, service fast and friendly. I don’t know how she keeps up with all the orders working by herself but she did a great job on a crowded afternoon. We both had burritos, I had the soy steak one and hubby had the seiten one. Big servings, lots of veggies, very tasty.

Wandered off the street at lunchtime for something quick. Grabbed a Seitan wrap, wanted the sandwich but they were all out of bread, hence the 4 stars. Tasty, quick, convenient and friendly. Not too pricey either.

I ordered the seitan burrito. It was MASSIVE and sooo deliscious! 30 kunas and so worth it. Sadly they're closing for summer season today so I won't be able to get more, the whole menu looked great, but highly recommend if you're going to Split in summer!

Hungry off the plane this was our first meal in Split. My husband and I both ordered burritos, one seitan, one tofu. The lady there does an amazing job on her own, remembering everyone's orders. It didn't take long to make considering she had several other people to cook for first. Both the tofu and seitan were marinated and cooked well so they had good flavour. Burrito we're packed full of veggies as well. Condiments on the side to add if you wish. Definitely worth visiting, sets you up well for a day of walking around Split.

My partner and I popped into Vege when we hopped off our ferry at the port. We had a little trouble locating the shop at first (just behind the green market in a little alley), but once you spot all the signs & follow them, it's quite easy to find.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is pretty small- not much seating inside (after all, it is a fast food/take away restaurant), and it's rather chaotic. There is only one lady working behind the counter, taking orders and cooking. If you sit down, don't expect to be approached and have your order taken- just head straight to the side of the counter and wait for the lady to approach you.
She will take your order and immediately make your food- there's not much of a structure, and orders are taken and made one at a time.
You may have to wait a while till you're served, but trust me, it's worth it!!
Although it is just fast food, it is absolutely delicious! The quantity is plentiful and the flavours are amazing! And for such a great price! Only 25kuna for a large burger ($5)- you will not find such good value anywhere else in split!
You HAVE to go here & try this place out.
I visited Vege Fast Food EVERY DAY I was in split, it was that good.
The food is amazing! I definitely recommend the Soja Burger & the Soja Burrito! Don't forget the siracha!

Came here on 28/08/2017. Food was quick and delicious. Had the seitan burrito. Absolutely amazing, best tasting seitan I've ever had. There's a cool cork board where people leave positive messages. Definitely worth the visit.

Vege Fast Food is in a central location, right by the harbour. It's hidden by market stalls which make it difficult to find, market stall owners will direct you and it is well worth visiting.

We had the Seitan Burrito which was very enjoyable, filled with flavourful Seitan with a good texture, rice and an assortment of vegetables including courgette with plenty of tasty seasoning.
Also a fridge with cold fizzy drinks, juices and water.
They also have a board where you can write on a piece of card whatever you would like to put up next to other patrons artwork and kind vegan messages.

Fantastic little takeaway/casual eat in restaurant offering cheap and tasty vegan meals. It's not a Michelin Star restaurant by any means but is the place to go for an easy and quick vegan lunch. It's not a dinner spot as the restaurant only consists of 3 tables and a front bench but is great for a quick lunch/snack or takeaway.
Read moreI've been to split twice and eaten there on both occasions 2-3 times. The food is cooked right in front of you and has been great each and every time I've eaten there. It's not complex in anyway but great holiday food.
The chefs and staff are outstanding people and always make you feel welcome. It's just great to see a purely dedicated vegan restaurant with multiple options. No matter what mood you are in, there is a meal for you on the menu.
Highly recommend this place. Remember to tip too as the prices are cheap to begin with!

Although it's a fast food place, it's delicious and most importantly healthy, not greasy and the smells of the kitchen are great.I wanted to try all the menu unfortunately I was lacking time, but bet that everything was delish. A vegan paradise in a city that doesn't offer Vegan options. More places like This!🤗🙌 The Quinoa was delicious and it was a big portion for the Price! This is a little takeaway tucked the market just outside the old town. There's a few seats, but it's definitely more a takeaway. If you're looking for "haute cuisine", this isn't the place for you!
