Great for a quick bite - Edit
Came here for lunch. The menu is quite extensive and there are vegetable based options alongside seitan/tofu etc. Everything appears fried so probably worth a miss if you're not into oil!
Read moreI had the seitan burrito which had fried mixed vegetables, rice and seitan in it. They have condiments that you can have also which was nice. My food was filling and tasty although no spice was used. I also had some freshly squeezed orange juice which was good!
Pros: Filling

Nice little place for a bite - Edit
Had a diner here late in the evening. I had the possibility to sit at the counter and eat my diner here, while others only minutes later had to take out. Food was good and many choices. Also a vegan icecream shop next door.

Alright food - amazing location - Edit
We had the fried tofu with rice. It was flavourless and boring. Thou it’s cheap and everything is vegan. But people say that the burger and burrito is good, didn’t try it but you should instead of this dish!

Good food bad service - Edit
Pros: Vegan restaurant with nice grafitti about veganism and testimonial wall for customers.
Read moreTasty food.
Con: Really neglectful server, she did not ask us anything ( just assumed we will dine-in for example, did not ask if we needed glasses for our beer, or tofu or seitan, did not acknowledge us when we said bye and thanks). On the other hand regularly checked-in with other customers, asked lots of questions and offered many options to them. Seems like she is prejudiced towards South Asian people/POC (all other customers were white). Management should consider hiring more compassionate and respectful people, as this type of service was unacceptable.

Good stop for a wrap - Edit
Stopped here for a quick lunch. I ordered the burrito wrap with seitan and my boyfriend ordered the falafel wrap. Both were tasty and cheap - total of 75 kuna for both. The falafel wasn't the best I've tried in Split (check out Daddy Cool for awesome falafel) but it did the job. The seitan was good and had a nice texture.

Good value for money - Edit
This was a perfect first stop as we arrived in Split with hunger pangs. They have pretty big portions, some tables and free wifi. I liked their oyster mushroom plate and fresh orange juice. They also have tasty burritos and pasta dishes. Just make sure you bring kuna with you as they are cash only. For the amount of food you get, it’s by far the best value vegan meal in Split.

Fast food with emphasis on fast - Edit
It was okay. It's fast food, and all vegan. Lot's to choose from. We had soy burger, fried tofu with rice and a side dish of vegetables. The taste was underwhelming (almost no spice). But the place was central and nice.
Read moreThe working conditions seemed harsh for the cook and staff. Stressful and loads of work. Ethic wise it's good for the animals but we hope they are paid well for their work.
Pros: All vegan, cheap, fast, accessible.
Cons: Bland taste. Stressful environment.

Good but not the best - Edit
Enjoyed my soya wrap here and it was very cheap (30kunas) but the meat wasn't the best I've tried. It was definitely worth the money and I enjoyed the wrap

Simple, fresh and very affordable - Edit
Freshly made vegan food, friendly staff. I would recommend to eat your burrito or tortilla on sight because it is difficult to eat on the go. Filling portions, I think a bit more spices would make the food even better but for this price in a town like Split one can hardly ask for more.
Read moreEasy to find if you arrive in Split by boat (or if you park near the harbour like we did) on your way to the old town.

Staff is friendly, and food is healthy.
Read moreI had the burrito and my boyfriend had the tortilla, both were ok but a bit simple - no spice, no sauce, just rice, carrot and courgette, a bit of pepper, and seitan pieces in a tortilla bread. Servings are filling.
Pros: Healthy, Filling, Nice staff
Cons: Lacking a bit of flavour

No Frills/Still Yummy and Healthy - Edit
Arriving from Sibenik at 3PM with only peanuts and an apple in my stomach, I needed a fix and fast.
Read moreVege Fast Food was just that. I ordered the quinoa plate with veggies and seitan. It felt healthy and not too oily. The serving was quite generous, and the prices very reasonable (my dish was the most expensive on the menu at around $8). Will likely return before leaving Split.

Cons: Limited seating

Fast vegan food - Edit
Cheap, diverse vegan dishes close to the city centre. Not fancy but definitely great to see vegan “fast food”, however, somewhat too oily and salty for our liking.

So, the tofu is amazing - it did taste a lot like eggs but they say it's vegan. It's not expensive and it's tasty, maybe a tad bit too salty for my taste.

What a nice surprise to find this place! So many great food choices, and for cheap prices, too!! The woman working there was very kind, and gave me all three mock meat options even though the menu only listed two choices.

Good but nothing special - Edit
The food was good but nothing great. The lady was nice and I was happy to see a vegan restaurant in Split, however, it's important to go in without high expectations.
Read moreI have a burrito with mixed rice and soya chunks (because they didn't have any burger buns) and another mixed rice with breaded tofu dish. Both decent but nothing great. A bit bland as others have pointed out. Price was cheap but not that cheap (around £5 / 6 euros per dish).
PS it was also closed the first time I went (Sunday around noon middle of June).
Pros: No burger buns when I went, Nicely prepared soya and tofu, Friendly service
Cons: Food kind of bland, Wrap was soggy and overfilled - used fork & knife
