This restaurant seems to be run exclusively by women, which is a plus for me. Is on the expensive side, perhaps because of location. The food is tasty and well presented.

The food was good, but it didn’t stand out. Perhaps next time I’ll try the burgers instead of the Czech specialties, which were just ok.

The goulash was also amazing and the raspberry lemonade is a favourite for sure
The only downside was that you habe to walk up a lot of stairs in the building to get there. So not recommended for people who are struggling with that

Tasty czech vegan food - Edit
This restaurant is a little off the beaten track. We enjoyed the option of being able to try vegan versions of czech classics - the goulash was a particular favourite and the sharing platter was very tasty.

We had our eye on this place as we really wanted to try local food! Between us we had the cabbage goulash and svíčková with dumplings as mains and shared the avocado tartar to start. The interior was lovely but there are a lot of stairs to climb so if you struggle with stairs this is not the place for you! I would definitely recommend this restaurant particularly to those who want to try some more traditional Czech food! The staff were also really lovely!

Die hohen Preise liegen hier sicher an der Lage des Restaurants. Es gibt typisch tschechische Gerichte und ein paar andere, z. B. Burger. Ich hatte die Mini-Burger, die sehr lecker waren. Die Portionen sind üppig, das Personal nett.

Absolutely stunning wee place with great options. I had the lasagne and my partner had the goulash but we both ended up eating bits of each other’s meal because it was so good we didn’t want to miss out. All the waiters were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

I tried the vegan Svicková and it was amazing!! I had never tried Svickova before and I'm glad the first one I ever tried was at Vegan’s Prague. The food was amazing and I love that they had veganised versions of traditional Czech meals.

I applaud local food on the menu. The Czech cabbage goulash with dumplings was large and delicious. More applause for serving tea in a pot not just a cup. Soy was only milk choice though and you dine in an attic which is quaint but no windows at table level to enjoy the stunning views.

Da es hier tschechische Gerichte gab, haben wir die beiden ausprobiert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sehr sehr leckeres Gulasch und sehr leckeres SVÍČKOVÁ!

Zum Nachtisch haben wir zwei Kuchen probiert. Der Mohn-Käsekuchen und ein Schokoladenkuchen. Ersterer war irgendwie viel zu hart, letzterer irgendwie auch nicht überzeugend. Bei den Kuchen geht noch was, die beiden veganen Versionen tschechischer Gerichte dagegen waren sehr sehr gut.
Pros: Veganes tschechisches Essen (geil!)
Cons: Touristische Preise, Sehr weit oben im Haus , Kuchen war eine Enttäuschung

You wouldn't know this was here, up at the top of a building hidden away, but what a find. The zucchini lasagne is amazing. Lots of czech traditional food, e.g. goulash, but plenty of other options too, burgers etc. Staff really friendly. Highly recommend.

Wir waren das erste Mal kurz nach der Eröffnung von 6 Jahren (Anfang November) da. Damals hatten wir richtig Glück noch einen Platz zu bekommen. Das Essen war super lecker und hat uns damals unseren Urlaub richtig versüßt. Das Team ist super freundlich, spricht sehr gut englisch und kennt sich mit Allergenen bestens aus.
Read moreDieses Mal waren wir Anfang Februar da und haben recht früh gegessen, daher konnten wir schön oben unterm Dach essen. Meine Mutter verträgt kein Soja und die Mitarbeiterin hat uns super beraten.
Ich habe das gleiche wie vor 6 Jahren gegessen und was soll ich sagen es ist immer noch unfassbar lecker.
Das Ambiente ist sehr außergewöhnlich (leider nicht barrierefrei) und wenn die Dachterassa im Sommer geöffnet ist, hat man auch einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Burg.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

I had the cabbage goulash, it was a tasty enough hearty dish, but didn’t blow me away. I did enjoy the experience of trying local cuisine and just wish there was more options for that on the menu!

There was a drawing of the Titanic sinking to advertise their ‘titanic’ special burger on the blackboard. Maybe it’s just me but I found that a little in poor taste😒

Very nice, historical building and friendly staff. The food was mostly good, perhaps a bit bland. We got the Caesar salad and the svičkova. Both good, but could have used salt. Overall, happy we went there but not blown away, perhaps because the reviews have been fabulous so I was expecting more.

We had lunch here today having seen various recommendations to come here online, and we were not disappointed. After walking up more stairs than it takes to find the toilets in a Wetherspoon’s, we shared Cabbage Goulash with Dumplings and Svickova with Dumplings, as we wanted to try some local cuisine (turned vegan). Both were amazing and very filling (no need for a starter or dessert)… the Svickova probably edged it as the favourite. The service was amazing and the atmosphere on the top floor was great.
