Amazing cakes - Edit
I've tried two kinds of cakes at their open kitchen shop and they both were delicious. The chocolate hazelnut one was a bit too much though (death by chocolate) but for sharing it's great. Very expensive though (5€ for one slice of cake).

Simply Amazing - Edit
We were there twice. Once for breakfast; we had a sandwich which was huge, a Cholate-Banana-Cake, freshly pressed orange juice, coffee and a croissant. Everything tasted delicious.
Read moreThe second time we came for lunch and had the daily dish which was Stroganoff. It was amazing. For dessert we had Blueberry-Cheese-Cake and Coconut-Yogurt-Cake they were both great (especially the yogurt one). The prices are more than reasonable for the quality.
In the warm months it is very nice to sit in the backyard.
Pros: Amazing Food, Good Prices, Friendly Staff

Delicious! - Edit
We've been here for breakfast. We had coconut-joghurt with fresh berries, croissant, banana bread and a tempeh sandwich. Although they were out of granola (which was a pity) the joghurt was very good and had a lot of tasty berries in it. Banabread was perfect (how do you make it so fluffy?) My boyfriend was super happy with his tempeh sandwich that was with selfmade kimchi. We also had a white chocolade cake. Absolutely delicious!!!

Great hidden gem - Edit
Located in a location near the dragon bridge, this is a place worth visiting. The daily menu was good, the soup a little less.

Sehr sehr lecker - Edit

Charming and delicious - Edit
I tried to come for dinner but they stop serving meals after 4pm. So I settled for brunch and it was fantastic. Latte was great, homemade jam on the croissant, the sandwich had perfect amounts of everything, and the yogurt was so pretty I just wanted to stare at it (and it wasnt super sweet, which so many places mess up). Wish I could eat here more but sadly I was just visiting Ljubljana.

Unbelievable brownie and mango lemonade - Edit
The brownie tasted like a perfect brownie should - no complaints - and there was even some peanutbutter on top which only made it better. The mango lemonade was nicely refreshing on this hot day in Ljubljana. I liked that Veganika had fully open doors to each side so you could sit inside in the shadow but still look outside in the cute garden.

Thankful for this place - Edit
I am really happy they dare to refuse to serve cow's milk and be 100% vegan, it's rare in Ljubljana. The owner is a lovely person, their food and drinks are excellent and the daily dishes are creative and hearty. Nice atmosphere and kind staff. Go here!

favourite place in slovenia - Edit
it all started with the cheesecake which i’m still in love with (every time i have it it tastes even better !!) and the daily dishes are a l w a y s incredible (i’ve had a curry and a soba noodles tempeh bowl so far and both blew my mind) but my favourite thing about this place are the kindest staff i’ve ever seen in any restaurant. every time i visit veganika the staff are soo friendly. i probably spend most of my money here and i can definitely say it’s well-spent money. this review was inspired by the fact that my friend and i were given free brownies (which were so good) today because we had to wait a bit longer than usual for our food to arrive (and it honestly didn’t even seem that long). that was so kind!!!! i’m excited to be back soon, do yourself a favour and go visit veganika, no place in slovenia beats it

Relaxed, friendly and delicious - Edit
Our first stop in Ljubljana was Veganika, in the early evening, for cake and wine. Tucked away between two streets, it's a relaxed and friendly cafe/restaurant. We had a chocolate brownie, a delicious white chocolate and berry torte and two glasses of Slovenian red wine. The woman who served us was friendly, and the vibe chilled and calm. We loved it!

This place is SO Good. - Edit
Awesome vegan food. Had two dishes to pick from, seems like they rotate. Delicious coffee. Awesome sweets. Menu is not in English but they’ll explain for you. Super cheap too- full plate of rice/curry, latte, and brown was €10.
