Amazing - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to. I tried red cabbage, dumplings and lemon soup for starter all amazing. For mains I tried soba and bao buns, both good. Dessert was a mango coconut cake which was ok but tasted a bit healthy. Would recommend everyone in Ljubljana to try this place!

Best vegan food in Ljubljana - Edit
This was the best meal we had in Ljubljana. The menu has lots of 'small dishes ' and only four 'main courses'. We shared a couple of small dishes to start then had a main each and I couldn't finish mine. If we went again I think we'd share a few of the small dishes instead. The portions are large. Everything was good, the polenta with shiitake mushrooms was fantastic. English menu and English spoken. We walked up and got a table outside at 6.30 but by 7pm they were turning people away.

Starter really good! - Edit
The place is nice, the service amazing, and we ordered 2 starters and it was delicious, polenta with mushrooms sauce and fried cauliflower. I highly recommend it. However, we didn't really like the two main dishes, mashed potatoes with meat balls in red sauce and the ramen. The broth was tasty but the broccoli was overcooked and the type of pasta used wasn't tasty.

The best vegan food in Ljubljana - Edit
Really yummy 😋 whole plant dishes. Excellent diversity and choice of dishes they offer. Nice place with great music (while I was there). The names of dishes are just perfect (word games and 🤣).

One of my best experiences - Edit
This restaurant really has a lot to offer. They originally didn’t have any free tables left - but made it possible for me later in the evening.

Focaccia e alcachofras - Edit
O Veganika fica aos pés da via que dá acesso ao castelo de Ljubliana, no centro histórico da cidade. O restaurante é muito agradável, conta com um atendimento bastante cortes e serve tanto refeiçőes como aperitivos diversos.

Filling and delicious - Edit
I came alone on a Sunday at 2:00 (they closed at four), and a sign outside said they had no tables available. I went in anyway and there was a table for one available. The waitress told me the kitchen was backed up and the wait would be long, but I said I didn’t care. The wait wasn’t too bad. I got the focaccia, which was really just bread (but good bread with a side of garlicky olives). For the main I got the soba noodles with fresh spinach, tempeh, house made kimchi, fried onions and peanuts and it was delicious. I regret getting the bread, because I wasn’t able finish the soba noodles.

It was the first fully vegan restaurant we visited in Ljublana and it did not disappoint!
Read moreThe food was mostly inspired by asian food but with a creative twist to them. There were not too many options though.
I had the Ramen, which was full of flavour but a little too salty for my taste.
The cake for desert was super yummy and changes daily.
Also, the server was suuuuper kind and helpful!
Pros: Desert options, Local drinks, Service
Cons: Too salty

Great options at a reasonable price - Edit
Went there for dinner on a Saturday and had a great time with a main course only. They offered 4 main courses of which 2 were not available. 3 of the 4 options furthermore were, as I would refer to it, Asian options (Ramen, Bao Buns and a spicy noodle bowl).
Read moreAdditionally the menu held various Tapas-like options of which two would serve one person, according to the waitress.
Service was excellent and well spoken in English for international visitors!

Lovely restaurant with creative vegan food - Edit
I really enjoyed dining at Veganika! It’s a cute and comfy restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. We (2 persons) shared 4 starters and one main dish. Everything tasted very good - I especially enjoyed the lemon soup. The cheesecake was also nice but maybe not as creamy as I would have expected it.

Comida 10/10 - Edit

Vegan culinary excellence - Edit
Are you a (vegan) foodie? This is the place for you! The seasonal menu is always full of surprises and humor. Yes, the humor of the head chef Nika is strongly reflected in her innovative, inspired, intriguing and delicious dishes. I'm a regular customer here and I can't keep coming back, never a dull flavour in Veganika.
Read moreMy fav way to eat here is to get a bunch of small sharing plates, but the main dishes are also great and you can never go wrong with their staple Soba 103 bowl.
What I really respect is the attention to detail that goes into each dish from its creation to when you are served. Makes you feel cared about as a guest.
It's also a very LGBT inclusive space, which I really appreciate 🌈
If you are a tourist in Ljubljana, don't miss on coming to Veganika, at least once. After that you'll just want more 😀
