All in all, a good meal 🥢 - Edit
The flambé salmon roll was very tasty, definitely a highlight. However, the wasabi was way too sharp for me (though others might enjoy this level of intensity). As a side, we had the crunchy wings. The flavor was okay, but the portion was quite large; I think I would’ve enjoyed them more if we'd had just two pieces per person. We also tried the crispy avocado bites, which were quite good.
Read moreTo drink, I had the iced tea, which was excellent – really refreshing and well-balanced. For dessert, I went with the matcha tiramisu. It was alright, but I felt it lacked a bit of sweetness or flavor complexity – it tasted mostly like plain mascarpone to me.
The staff was very friendly, and I really appreciated the portion sizes overall – generous but not excessive (except maybe the wings). All in all, a good meal, though it might be a while before we come back.

Viel tegen - Edit

Spectacular - Edit
We came in early at lunchtime. Friendly staff greeted us.
Read moreThe entrance of the restaurant is a bit dark, but walk to the back for the real place.
We came here after reading reviews here on Happy Cow. And boy, were they right. As some one earlier said. This place serves the best sushi outside Japan. And 100% vegan.
We had the "salmon" and "tuna". Both very delicious.
Every thing is made after you order so take your time. It is worth it.
We love to come back in summer and sit at the river bank terrace to enjoy more sushi.
Pros: Fresh made, Friendly staff
Cons: It is a pitty we do not live in Arnhem ourselves.

Best vegan sushi! 🐠 - Edit
Completely vegan restaurant serving sushi en several other Asian dishes. Everything is prepared after ordering, so you get really fresh stuff for a fair price! My non vegan friends didn’t miss a thing eating here.

Tasty Options - Edit
Our first visit was during lunchtime and we were the only ones. The place is probably best experienced in the evenings, but we still enjoyed our time. We had one combo consisting of gyoza, shrimpless tempura crunch (sushi), and mochi with yuzu lemonade as well as the miso ramen. The gyoza were excellent and the tempura crunch delicious! We also liked the mochi and ramen, although the ramen was the weakest of all dishes. It was good but small.
Read moreOur second visit was in the evening and we went again for the gyoza as starter, which were excellent and intense. We tried the miso soup which was nice as well. Our mains were California cream crunch and no chicken teriyaki. The latter was our favorite, but the crunch is also very tasty! To round it off, we had cucumber and avocado Maki which proved that even less "fancy" sushi is very well done here.
The red lightening might be a bit too dark in the evening, it is pricey, service can be slow and use gloves for everything, but it's still our best sushi experience!

Great People and Place - Edit
I was in the place when the weather was not so good and in the completely quiet hours. The staff were really friendly. The atmosphere inside was pleasant and the decor is really 'cool'. I've done the 'mistake' of ordering ramen instead of having sushi. So I can only judge the ramen. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either - it was quite interesting. Had no major protein source (but that's on me, the ingredients are clearly described so it's just a suggestion to improve the dish as such). The broth itself was very very milky and sweet - plant-based milk used. I know this can be the case with ramen as a 'specialty' but then I would emphasize this in the menu, so that one doesn't expect something akin to ramen broth and get disappointed. When one gets over this initial surprise, it plays really well together with the sweet corn. The noodles were almost a bit too dense/hard, and the portion is so small for a ramen - especially for the price. The presentation itself was lovely and overall it was pretty tasty, just not at all what one would expect from a ramen.

Standard menu, unfortunately only possible to order through digital menu via phone which proofed a bit tricky, outdoor seating nicely at the river but indoors too dark, nice owner :))

The sushi was great. The bao bun wasn’t super special. Service was fair. They were nice but everything took long. And wasn’t as proactive as I would like.

Favorite place in Arnhem! - Edit
It's my favorite vegan restaurant in Arnhem. The food and drinks are amazing and the location is pretty nice as well. The sushi is very different from all the other vegan sushi types (not solely mango, avacado and cucumber) as it is more diverse (e.g. vegan crab and salmon). Safe to say that I'm a regular here! They also offer take away

Vegan Sushi beats the old all you can eats - Edit
Visited some time ago, just after it opened after long anticipation and boy, was it good. This is sushi as it is intended and way better than the sushi at all you can eat places. The rolls are creative, balanced and very very tasty. I also loved the fried mushroom side dish. Can't wait to come back and try the other rolls.

I don't even like sushi... - Edit
We went here because everything else was closed on Wednesday night and I'm a sucker for gyoza. I dislike nori, so normally I avoid sushi, but I'm glad I went!
Read moreReally recommend the gyoza. There's a polite amount of nori hidden in the sushi, was really tasty! The iced tea isn't too sweet and actually tastes like tea.
Pros: Amazing Gyoza , Iced Tea not too sweet , Awesome vegan sushi
Cons: Tiramisu wasn't my favorite
