Visiting this place while in lisbon is a no brainer. Having a pastel del nata while in portugal is a must and I had the best (vegan) one here.
Read moreThey only stell one type of food, so you know they are specialized and it must be good. The custard isnt runny and a bit more solid, but it melts in your mouth. The puff pastry is flaky and feels buttery. The whole pastry isnt too sweet and you feel like you want more, yet still feel so satisfied afterwards.

Los pasteles están increíbles, tanto si sois veganos como si tenéis amigos a los que no les gusta la crema pastelera, invitadles a probar estos. Además, algo que me sorprendió mucho de Lisboa es que es muy difícil encontrar bares o cafeterías que tengan leche vegetal. En esta pastelería tienen también una cafetera y también hay disponible leche vegetal. Está muy cerca de la zona turística así que es muy accesible para acercarse en cualquier momento. No dudéis en pasar por allí.

The recipe is so good they only have to sell one thing. Me and my friends got 2 each and took them to go, had to come back for 3 more each within half an hour because they were so good. The nata lady was so lovely too, but she couldve been Miss Trunchbull and I would've still gone back. You should eat here you wont regret it.

Vegan Nata is a small shop about a 20 walk from the port, going through the main square. It’s up a lot of steep streets but 100% worth the trip, especially if this is your first nata experience like it was for us. We got a box of 6 after being recommended them but you can get different box sizes. We didn’t realise they were going to be hot, so we had to sit outside and try them and they’re delicious. Very sweet. The shop itself is great with lots of merch. Good price as well. We paid around €8 for 6 and it is a one time experience.

This bakery makes delicious vegan pastel de nata! I was lucky enough to be staying a 1 minute walk away and went here daily! I even ordered more to take back home and was happy they offered to deliver to my hotel the night before my flight! This is a must visit for any vegan who wants to try this classic pastry!
