Vegan Pide and Lahmacun - Edit
It's a great vegan restaurant in the centre of the asian part of Istanbul. The pide with soy meat was delicious and the vegan ayran as well! The food is quite cheap for a restaurant.

Fresh and tasty - Edit
The food is fresh and well seasoned. Other than lahmacun, they offer a variety of pide. The mushroom cheese pide was particularly good with its gooey cheese. The ice cream has a unique consistency but otherwise, I enjoyed eating here.

feb. 2025: we got pide and lahmacun which were very good and come with lettuce, raw onion with parsley, tomato slices, and lemon wedges. they gave us each a free içliköfte. the vegan ayran was too salty. friendly!
Read moresep. 2025: no notes just as good as last time. wish i got two lahmacun instead of one plus a cheese and mushroom pide
Pros: authentic stone oven, lahmacun on par with meat version, best vegan minced meat i've had

Very nice environment - Edit
It was cool to try a range of veganized local dishes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the outdoor seating on a busy pedestrian street was enjoyable. As elsewhere in Istanbul, cats were coming by looking for food and affection (I don't know if the cats fully understood that nobody was giving them meat here!).
Read moreI didn't think the food was amazing, but I enjoyed it.
Pros: Very friendly staff, Pleasant outdoor seating, Good prices
Cons: Food wasn't ultimately that memorable for me

Authentic Turkish food (but vegan) - Edit
Everything we tried from the mixed platters with different pide, lahmacun and starters as well as the deserts were delicious. It was a welcome surprise to find a place that makes authentic vegan lahmacun, since it's been over 15 years since I last had the dish as a non-vegan. Highly recommend it! :)
Read morePricing is also very reasonable. We paid around 1500 TL for food and drinks as a party of three.
Pros: Delicious food, Authentic Turkish dishes, Friendly staff

Incredible vegan pide and lahmacun - Edit
Our favourite vegan place in Istanbul, hands down! Most delicious pide and lahmacun! We used to have to take the ferry to Besiktas to eat there, so we're so happy they are now also in Kadikoy 😊❤️

Pretty good but vegan cheese weird - Edit
We really wanted to love the pide, it had great potential but the vegan cheese had a weird taste (and normally I love vegan cheese). We both said we could taste a weird taste and worked out it was the cheese. It was ok once we scraped it off.

Must-Visit Vegan Spot in Kadıköy - Edit
Vegan Masa in Kadıköy is a must-visit for plant-based food lovers. The vegan künefe and lahmacun are both incredibly well-crafted, but the real surprise was the ayran aşı soup — refreshing and full of flavor. A rare find that combines tradition and creativity in all the right ways. Highly recommended!

It's a place I've been coming to regularly before and after becoming vegan. Of course, I visited the new branch. I hope there will be many more new branches. They always provide the best taste, quality and a peaceful environment.

Must eat here! - Edit
Amazing authentic and fun Turkish food! Sophisticated modern ambiance with delicious food. Four of us shared the 3 person mixed pide and lahmacun. It was plenty and a great way to sample several varieties. Their fresh lavash base was excellent! Just loved it!

Don’t be Kadi - Coy! - Edit
This place is awesome. Lahmahcun and Pida both very good, but get that lemon juice and chilli flakes on both as otherwise maybe a little bland. Rice pudding dish (sulcuk?) was so good we got another.. Nice staff!

incredibly delicious - Edit
woow, this was so good! I had the Lacmanchu & a pide with soymeat and cheese. Since I read in one review that the pides are underwhelming I almost did not order it. I'm so glad I still did, it was sooo delicious! I also tried the Ayran, which I personally did not like but it tastes pretty much what I remember real Ayran tasting like 😊

Authentic Turkish dishes - hit & miss - Edit
Vegan Masa is set in a lovely location in the heart of Kadikoy. The interior is clean and open with lots of seating. They have a large variety of veganised Turkish dishes which are hard to find elsewhere. We tried the selection for two and the couplet. The couplet was fantastic and definitely the standout item, it had amazing flavours. However, we tried all four pide and the majority were quite bland. They lacked the depth of flavour in the couplet and in our opinion aren't worth it. We recommend getting a couplet and lahmacun!

İçindeki patlıcan oranı biraz daha arttırılırsa orjinal hünkar beğendiyi aratmayacak kadar lezzetli olabilir. 😇
