BEST Restaurant in Thailand?! - Edit
Wow! Just opened and already my Fav!
Read moreFirst of all the setting is just gorgeous- it’s an old colonial style house which was completely renovated. It has great history with the first female sculptor living in here. Now it is the most beautiful settings you can wish for - probably nice as dinner date as well!
The food is stunning! Wow - I am impressed - the Massaman Curry was not only presented nicely, it was also the best Curry I have had so far. Three types of Yam and also some delicious and crisp Thai Roti with it (still hot). As starters I had vegan pork in noddles wrapped and deep fried. Also delicious. They have lots of traditional Thai dishes veganized - I haven’t seen them anywhere else
Lovely service and so professional.
Drinks are refreshing. I usually drink coconut water a lot, but the coconut nectar juice was so interesting and delightful. Also had a welcome drink.
As cake they have raw cakes in three flavours and with a baked crispy bottom layer. I had coffee and it was rich and creamy! Stunning texture and not too sweet #Veganuary

The Vegan Dream-Fine Vegan Dinning Affordable - Edit
The food was good, all thought I had to ask for not very exotic food, as I am not really tolerant to spicy food. However, the experience was incredible, they receive you well, you take off your shoes and make you feel VIP and welcome the whole time. The menu has great pictures. I would come back and recommend it.

Honestly our least favorite meal in Thailand - Edit
I will note that the bar was very high—we had a few dozen delectable meals up and down the country. Still, looking back at the trip, this stands out as the only place we definitely wouldn’t return to. The service is impeccable, the place is cool, and if you want a fine dining experience then this is where to go (note: no shoes inside the restaurant). The food itself was…not great? It felt quite authentic, and we’ve never had anything quite like some of what we had here, but despite it being interesting, we definitely had far tastier food at every turn during our trip (and for a fraction of the price)

Authentic vegan Thai food in Bangkok, Thailand! - Edit
Authentic vegan Thai food in Bangkok, Thailand!
Read moreFood****
We got the vegan cashew nut chicken dish, neem salad appetizer and vegan pork dish. The neem salad had an earthy, bitter taste but a good kind! It was a very different flavor profile from what we’ve had and neem has amazing health benefits—score! The vegan cashew chicken was so scrumptious and delicious. It was definitely better than the Thai food in the states. The vegan pork was really good and a nice balance to the rest of the food.
Atmosphere****
Classical playing, no shoes allowed (but they provide slippers) and comfortable/spacious seating. This was a total win!
Service****
The waitresses and waiters were so polite and peaceful. It was like you walked into a Buddhist temple to eat. I highly recommend this place!
Price$$
Not too bad. With two meals and an appetizer it was $23!
Pros: Delicious , hefty portions

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
This is a truly high calibre restaurant with a beautiful wide vegan menu. The best food I have had in Thailand. Menu includes tofu and mock meat and many vegetable dishes that are unusual and delicious. Can’t recommend enough. Decor is beautiful too - in an old style house.

Fancy vegan restaurant - Edit
Went here around noon and was very impressed by the style of the restaurant and the service was amazing. It was such a fun experience. Im not used to fancy restaurants so it was a bit new but I loved every second and spent a while eating my appetizer plate and delicious meal
Read moreIt was an amazing experience with very tasty food I would definitely come back and recommend it to anybody who wants to have a nice lunch/dinner experience
I got 2 coffees, a mineral water, chinese main dish, and an appetizer tray and I think it came out to 900 baht which is reasonable for the quality of the restaurant. And plus in America it would have easily been 3-5x more expensive
Pros: Fancy, Great food, Good portions
Cons: Not for budget tourists

3.5 ⭐️
Read moreVery beautiful place- definitely an upscale vibe. We got the appetizer sampler to start and it was alright. Not anything I would get again. I tried the vegan pork belly with Thai chilis and it was quite good. My mom got something else I don’t recall the name, but that was even better. But all in all, not a place I would be quick to return to. And my mom ordered the lime drink? And it was almost pure syrup lol. So sweet.

Best of Bangkok 👑 - Edit
Definately my favourite place in Bangkok so far! The building itself is well-kept, beautiful old teakwood house which stands out in the neighbourhood.
Read moreThe menu features a variety of thai cuisine classics and more, and the dishes are well prepared as well as beautifully arranged. Everything I ate was delicious, and I really appreciated the more subtle flavours in comparison to average kitchens. Ingredients are prepared with great care here, instead of being stir-fried to oblivion.
Gluten free/jay options are clearly marked and the staff makes sure to inquire about any food allergies.

Tasty and very pleasant atmosphere - Edit
We actually really enjoyed this restaurant. It is really set apart from most other vegan places in Thailand, being a proper restaurant with a nice relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed our lychee and pineapple curry and traditional rice noodle. The presentation was really well done! This comes at a surplus with dishes being between 180-250 baht. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars. Can you get tastier food at a lower price in Bangkok? Yes. But this being a nice restaurant with good service does make it worthwhile. Bear in mind that there is a 10% service surcharge.

Sehr gehobenes Lokal in eher unscheinbaren Lage. Sehr ausgefallenes und leckeres Essen. Eher preislich teurer als anderes aber ist es definitiv dennoch wert für das was man bekommt.

My new favorite vegan restaurant in Bangkok ❤️ - Edit
My new favorite vegan restaurant in Bangkok. The food is delicious and the dishes are presented as true pieces of art. We tried several dishes. We loved the Khao Soy as well as the curry. Also the mango sticky rice was very tasteful, perfectly balanced and as to the presentation, the picture speaks for itself. 💛 The tom yum lacked a bit of taste. The building is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Keep up the good works guys and happy new year!! 🎊

Vegan Mahanakhon 🤩 - Edit
Wow! What a wonderful experience, not only was everything incredibly delicious, but the food and restaurant were presented so beautifully. The local (sleeping) cat stole my heart 🐱 💕, but the food definitely won over my taste buds! I ordered a Thai coffee for takeaway and didn’t regret it. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Some of the best food I have EVER eaten - Edit
OMG this place is amazing. The best food I’ve ever had and in a beautiful building. The building is tucked away behind a not very attractive street but is a hidden gem. The staff are lovely and it isn’t that expensive at all really considering how amazing the food and location are. The sticky rice was the best I’ve had in Thailand so far and the mains were amazing. Want to try everything! #Veganuary

Must visit BKK - Edit
If you are in Bangkok, stop reading this and get to Vegan Mahanakhon, now.
Read morePlenty of authentic vegan Thai food options from starters right through to deserts and coffees. The flavours and spice levels are spot on. A ton of options you won’t get at your local Thai takeaway back home.
This place can get busy so you might like to book in advance.
The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality. Will be visiting again next time we’re in BKK. #Veganuary

Good but not my style - Edit
Good experience overall. The restaurant, in an elegant style, is nice but in my personal taste I find it not very welcoming. Typical Thai food (vegan version) good and tasty. Pad Thai remarkable. Fast service and friendly staff. At the entrance they make you take off your shoes, just as if you were entering a house! Too bad you can't pay with card under a certain amount. Average prices.

Worth the taxi ride! - Edit
We had to take a 30-minute taxi ride to get here from our hotel and another 30-minute ride back but it was well worth it. The entrance is very unassuming, like you wouldn't even be able to tell there's a restaurant in here unless you know. Once you walk in though, it's like you're in an oasis in this gorgeous space. The menu is extensive with a lot to choose from, and most importantly all vegan! We ordered quite a few things and they were all delicious. Staff was courteous and service was great. Would definitely come back and try out some more.
