I have been coming here for many years, since it first opened up (under different owners at the time). I love the gyro bowl and the strawberry milkshake is my current obsession. The empanadas are delicious. The pizza one is my favorite. I also love getting the spring rolls as a snack! 10/10 I will always recommend!!

Read moreThe food was outstanding, i came back the next day because my family went crazy over the mac and cheeze and the drumsticks.
I had a falafel salad which was also great. Falafels were moist inside and crunchy and golden brown on the outside.
The milkshakes were great too.
The nice woman at the register dealt with my frustration over the app and my advanced age very gracefully :-)
The best item i tried were the mac empanadas which have like fake meat crumble inside and taste like lasagna somehow. Incredible!

Food didn't taste great nor are the prices reasonable for the food. Due to the shop being all vegan I'll give it 3 stars. Food was ok but not good enough to justify coming back.

I go here wayyyyyy too much because it's so delicious. Nick and the rest of the staff are always so nice and welcoming! While EVERYTHING is fire on the menu, my favorites are the empanadas and gyro box. So much food too! Milkshakes? BOMB. Veggies, AMAZING. Mock meats, THE BEST. Plus they have a small selection of frozen items, local bakery items, candy, and more.

Lions mane sandwich and bacon burgers were really good. I would just put more veggies on the lions mane b/c I ended up putting tomato and lettuce on it at home. Mac and cheese needed salt, didn’t have a lot of flavor. Was a little irked to see a map of Israel with the “Palestinian” flag superimposed on it in the waiting area. What if I had a map of Ukraine with the Russian flag on it? Exactly. Not appropriate.

Authentic faux drumsticks - Edit
The drumsticks were chewy and juicy like an authentic wing. The "skin" was caramelized and thickly glazed in BBQ sauce but was not overwhelmingly sweet. The "meat" was a bit fibrous and left strands in my teeth but had a subtle savory flavor. The sugarcane "Bone" styles the dish and gives you something to chew on afterwards. If you prefer boneless wings, the "chicken" fell off the bone as I was eating them.

I ordered the lions mane nugget plate with macaroni and collard greens. The greens were my fav on the plate. Very tasty. The macaroni was delicious too. I thought that the lions mane could have been seasoned a bit more, but overall pretty good. GF ordered the vegan chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best vegan things she has ever had. Would love to try more items here.

My first visit and not my last! I ordered the chopped cheese hoagie and it was DELICIOUS!!!! The food came out hot and fresh and fast. There were a bunch of people picking up orders and everyone that entered the space seemed very happy to be there and eat their food. Worth the visit!!

The cabbage, candied yams, Mac & “cheez” were tasty. BUT, Unfortunately most of the other items on menu were FRIED! I DoNot use/eat oil so very limited in things I could try.

2024: After being away from Tampa for several years, we were excited to visit. The owner who took our order was not the friendly person we encountered when it first opened. The establishment seemed to be still on some sort of lockdown. It was an unpleasant & awkward experience.

2017: Formally the location for Just 4 U Vegan (now in Georgia), Vegan International Co. Kitchen & Market is going to be a must stop when we are in Tampa.
Specials varies daily. Menu includes: Curry, Jerk, BBQ, or Brown sauce served over grilled Soy Earth protein, Tofu, or Ocean protein. Sandwiches: BLT with mayo, on three slices of bread, Jerk or Grilled Veggie Burgers with Lettuce, Tomato, and Mayo, Vegan Philly with Sauteed Onions, Soup: varies - Pumpkin, Split Pea, Lentil, Chick'un & Vegetable, Dessert: Varies - Muffins: Carrot, Raisin, Coconut Blueberry, Carob, and Banana Nut). The sorrel is authentic and delicious. Smoothies: Green Passion, Mango Medley, Coconut Delight, and Strawberry. Offers Ginseng Up, Malta, other great drinks as well. The empanadas are hot and fresh.

Nick and staff are always pushing the limits and that’s what keeps me coming back! Wednesdays are great because you can do two gyros and an order of wings for a dub. They did a take on that place with the lobsters and man did they hit it. The gyro fries are a great try too!

Vegan International is a Tampa staple! I love that they brought back their milkshakes, and now they also do flurries! I love having a place where I can go get delicious food AND a delicious shake. Definitely try their Gyro or Chopped Cheese! I also can't resist their Sweet and Spicy Wings. The owners are so nice as well!!

The gyro platter was delicious. I ordered it decked out with pretty much all of the extras and the total started to creep up to where I wondered whether it would he worth it. I was pleased to find that it absolutely was worth it. With all of the extras and double rice and vegan meat, it's easily two meals for me... and I am *not* a light eater. The pictures don't do it justice. It is a lot of food.
Read moreThe caramelized bourbon banana bread may be the best banana bread I've ever had. After eating just half of the gyro platter, I could only finish half of this delicious banana bread. The bright side is that I have enough of each left over to eat the same big, filling meal tomorrow.

I got the lion sandwich and it looked as good as the advertisement; maybe even better. It could use a bit more seasoning though to get it to taste more like chicken if that’s the goal. I had the collard greens on the side which were delicious.

We ordered some burgers, a chopped cheese, chikn gyro and the Mac n cheez with lions mane mushrooms. Gyro was tasty, kids really liked the fries. I liked the Mac n cheez but didn't get "chicken" from the lions mane, borderline fish taste. Mac was a little bland. Collard greens were yummy. Would definitely eat again! Also like how clearly labeled the business was, easy to find!

I got the lions mane nuggs and vegan Mac and I loved them both. Great texture on both and super tasty with generous portions. I also got 3 of there vegan sugarcane drumsticks and whoa! I wish I ordered more😂
And apparently you can also buy different vegan grocery items too(when they have them in stock) can't wait to go here again!
Biggest downside is no inside seating(pick up and delivery only)

We got food from here when we got stuck in Tampa for a night after a canceled flight. We didn't know that they stop taking orders about 15 minutes before closing, but the cook was very kind and let us order and even gave us tasters of their ice cream. The food was super delicious.
