cheap and amazing - Edit
This place is so adorable and the staff are super friendly! They truely have put detail into the smaller things such as no plastic straws and reusable ones instead.
Read moreI had the fried tofu (beware spicy, but sooo good) and the pad Thai which was incredible. The coconuts are 27K so couldn’t resist. The map is perfect so it isn’t so hard to find.

the pad Thai and the super friendly environment ❤️❤️ - Edit
The Restaurant is hidden next to a temple. You have to walk/drive trough a small street to get there but when you arrive you’ll be greeted by the super welcoming owners! As everybody recommended the Pad Thai is awesome. Super creamy and delicious flavor! The pho was also good as well as the bun hue. They even have vegan ice cream! I REPEAT THEY HAVE VEGAN ICE CREAM - super delicious. Will try to go there on a regular❤️

Wonderful Vegan Restaurant - Edit
I am useless with maps and I managed to find it so whoever pinned the map did a great job of it.. Follow it and you will find it.
Read moreIt is a cozy, homely place with, yes, for once, an actual truly 100% vegan menu!! The dishes are great and extremely cheap.
They even have vegan ice cream!
Also particularly appreciated the use of bamboo straws - makes a nice change from the places that usually waste so much plastic.
Love it. One of the best if not the best place I have been to in Saigon.

Such a cozy restaurant, even though it's hard to find. Really a welcoming feeling and the entire area is decorated with vegan books and similar. Soup noodles are really good and the fresh coconut is only 27k!

Super friendly staff awesome food - Edit
Quite hard to find down an alley keep going to the end (looks like a dead end but then it bends to the right at the last minute and it's there. If you get lost just ask the locals they were happy to try to help me.
Read moreThe decor is really beautiful with old guitars and ukuleles on the walls. The staff are so friendly one of the lady's was happy to reccomend something and then she came and joined me to eat dinner. Food was so full of flavour and the fresh spring rolls were the best I have had yet. The noodle soup was also very tasty and really big portion sizes. Prices are very reasonable, only 40,000 for the soup and 40,000 for the spring rolls.
Honestly it is 100% worth trying to find, just maybe not on your own at night for the first time. I have tried to mark it on map.me for future vistitors
Pros: the friendly staff , tasty food, affordable prices and portion sizes
Cons: a little tricky to find

best food i had in Vietnam - Edit
Friendly staff, excellent food.
Read moreI had the tofu starter and aubourgine hot pot main. At only 40k each it was very cheap for the area! It was also the best food I have had in vietnam and the menu is fully vegan.
I had a hard time finsding it though. You have to head down an alley, unmarked on google maps and the sign for the restaurant is not very prominant. I wandered around a lot, worth the effort though!
Pros: vegan menu, excellent food, friendly staff, cheap
Cons: hard to find

Awesome, clean but a little hard to find - Edit
Came here today with my mom who was born and raised in Vietnam and is not a vegetarian or vegan. She was skeptical and wasn’t planning on eating. I ordered the fried spring rolls, veggie tofu and pad thai, enough to share with her. She was surprised and loved everything. Very delicious food, clean and comfy atmosphere and very nice staff. Menus are in English or Vietnamese. They even delivery food using bicycles to cut down on emissions, so cool to see. It’s a little hard to find but don’t give up, it’s worth it.

The Pad Thai will F'ng kill you... - Edit
One can clearly see a theme of winning dishes here. For my first visit, I made it dealer's choice. The consummate staff presented me with a slice of cake as my entrée. I was overjoyed by the generosity, I must say.

New fav! - Edit
The pad thai is just amazing! I wasn't a fan of the bun rieu (have had better) but the pad thai, the ice cream and the burger (they don't have the burger on the menu it seems though that they have a special dish every day) blew my mind. Best vegan burger I had in hcmc without a doubt and it was 50k! The owner is super friendly and his vegan friends gave us vegan cake since they were celebrating a birthday. They didn't speak any English and I unfortunately don't speak Vietnamese which was a pitty because I'd love to have a chat with them, seemed like great people and the cake....omg!

Tasted very good - Edit
It's a very nice vegan rest with very kind people that speak English very good. We had the Pad thai (45k) that was delightful and the fried tofu (40k) which was nice because it contained a lot of vegetables. The vanilla icecream (25k) made of coconutmilk was lovely too.

Worth hunting out - Edit
This place is hidden down a small alley and it is easy to miss.
Read moreIt is worth finding though as not only do you get wonderful, freshly cooked vegan food, there is a really nice ambiance. The general clientele is much younger than we were, but that didn't matter as the staff are all so friendly.
The Pad Thai was awesome. So was the home made soy milk.
The portions are not as large as in some restaurants, but you will not leave feeling hungry.
Pros: Friendliness and enthusiasm for veganism
Cons: slightly out of the way

One-dish restaurant, go for the Pad Thai only - Edit
I've had the pad thai (35k dongs) three times. It was consistently superb.
Read moreI also had rice noodles with spring rolls which were mediocre (30k dongs, two rolls cut in half, small portion, needed spicing badly) and japanese soup with tofu and tomatoes (30k dongs, tiny bowl) which was fresh but had no particular taste, really). Note that there are no spices available for you to add any flavour, not even the soya sauce or spicy sauce...
I also tried Guava juice which was OK (just slightly overpriced for the portion) and a fresh coconut. The latter was served warm and when I asked for ice they took away thr nut and brought me the coconut water in a glass with bits and pieces of coconut in it, and one half of the coconut on the side with the tasty white bits peeled off the nut so I could eat them. It was the best miscommunication I've had in Asia. ;) Though still no ice!
The place feels like sitting in a Vietnamese family's living room, the staff (and their families?) are watching TV and eating away some food that's not in the menu...
If you're headed their way, just take the pad thai. It is worth it. Don't bother trying anything else!
Pros: Magnificent Pad Thai
Cons: Dishes other than the Pad Thai

so sorry about your not good experience in the restaurant. Like many other rare vegan restaurant we try our best to spread the vegan lifestyle idea and yet maybe the food may not fit your taste, but surely the restaurant has many more dishes worth to try. Don't hesitate to ask for soya sauce or ask them put more sauce or salt to fit your taste. Hope to see you at the restaurant again.

Bref, beaucoup trop long selon moi.

Not bad! - Edit
Nice friendly place. Owner told me they actually close nearer 10 despite saying 9pm on the door. I tried the pad thai (which comes with mushrooms not tofu) reasonably priced at 35k. It's always a gamble asking for this outside of Thailand and although it wasnt bad, I would recommend trying something else. Noodles were slightly undercooked in my opinion. I imagine the local options would be a better bet.
Read morePros: friendly/helpful, good English.
Cons: Meal size not small but wasn't big either
