Really good!

I had an amazing dinner at Vegan Dükkan. We were two, we shared a cheese starter then a main course each. I had the cheese starter as I expected “local” cheeses, otherwise I wouldn’t had it (a bit pricey and were on budget). I was more than happy anyways as they were delicious. As main courses we had Turkish Ravioli and Kebab, they were truly greatly cooked, fresh and tasty. Staff is more than welcoming! It’s a tiny spot and closes at 9pm so arrange your visit if tou want to try it. I definitely recommend it! Great spot!

Pros: Turkish ravioli

Exceeded expectations

It would be rude not to come here as I’m staying 3 mins away but I would travel for this place!

I arrived at about 8pm, asked for a recommendation as I didn’t know what to get and the lady said the traditional smoked eggplant (with meatballs) and it was delicious! I also had the tiramisu for desert (10/10!!!).

The 2 dishes came to £11.70 and I paid with card with no extra fee. There is a 10% service fee included in that also!

Food was delicious, atmosphere is cosy and service was great. Don’t expect fast food but I also didn’t wait long at all. It’s all fresh!

I had the pleasure of 2 cats joining me at my table too 🥰

They also have a great breakfast and drinks menu

Pros: CATS, Fresh delicious vegan food , Authentic

Wow, just delicious. Not a huge choice and maps will take you to slightly the wrong spot (about 30m) it's so worth coming here, my best meal in Istanbul.

Pros: Flavour, Ambience, Locationj

Best food in Turkey

The menu was so extensive I struggled to choose, what I did have definitely didn't disappoint! The Avocado salad was plentiful and full of flavour and goodness. The kebab was AMAZING! Especially the flavour and texture. The apple crumble was yummy and the magnum to go was the icing on the cake. PLEASE VISIT!

Pros: The extensive menu, The kebab was amazing! , Great service

Cons: I couldnt eat everything

Hidden gem

Tried a few vegan restaurants while on holiday in Istanbul and the others were OK, this one stands out. Food was delicious and generously portioned. Highly recommended.

Pros: Delicious food , Reasonably priced

Cons: Not the biggest restaurant...

Proper Vegan cafe in Istanbul

So far the only “proper” vegan cafe we tried. Nice and welcoming staff, amazing home made food with wide variety of choice and finally something different from the falafel/hummus/mezze that we had most of the time and we got a bit bored of. We tried the cheese plate (really nice), the vegan kebab and the turkish ravioli. Both recommended. We also shared a lovely tiramisu for desert and a very good turkish coffee. The lavender kombucha is AMAZING. Lovely environment with sweet cats asleep by my side. Avoid this place if you are looking for a fast food, this is real, proper food and the price is honest, considering the work behind every dish. Well done guys!!

Delicious food

Busy and friendly cafe/resto with linked groceries store selling vegan goods. We got the kebab and the smoked eggplant dish, both were great but the eggplant was our favourite - highly recommend! The kebab could have done with more sauce. Well presented food, friendly staff and lots of cute cats hanging about! A bit expensive but that’s Istanbul for you it seems!

Great food!

I tried “cacik” (kaju yogurt with cucumbers) and “manti” (a kind of patty), from Turkish cuisine, and they were both great. I enjoyed cacik in particular. An omnivore would be unable to distinguish between real yogurt and this one. However, I thought they were slightly pricey.

Pros: Cacik, Sun soaked tables

Cons: Prices

Amazing, must visit!!

As this place had the best reviews we went on the first night of our stay and we were not disappointed! The food was incredible - so delicious, well presented and plenty of it. We then came back 3 mornings for breakfast as they were open at 10am and other vegan places weren't open until later on. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were a few cats that were in all the time that loved a good cuddle! It was quite pricey but due to inflation in Turkey, this is common.

Pros: Delicious food, Lots of choice, Big portions

Absolutely one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. I’m not adding anything new here with a rave review. Everything here food and non food related is fantastic.

Must visit in Istanbul!

So good I had to visit twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was delicious! The pink beetroot hummus was very tasty, as was the adana kebab. The kebab came with amazing flavours, the tzatziki added an amazing refreshing taste, while the kimchi added some spice. Amazing! The staff were very kind and friendly, and the restaurant nice and cosy. A must visit!

Pros: Adana kebab, Hummus on Toast, Tzatziki

Fantastic Place

Amazing, tasty and well-presented food. If you love cats, this is the place to be! We had a ginger kitten sleeping on the cushion next to us the whole time and a chunky black and white cat sleeping under the window and we were sat inside.
It’s not a huge place but there is a small amount of seating outside as well as inside.
Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Food, Cats, Service

Cons: None

Our favourite restaurant in Istanbul

On a recent trip we tried all the vegan food we could find, but this was by far our favourite. The Börek was spectacular, and everything else we tried was great, too. It’s small though, so you might not get a seat during busy times.

Pros: Outstanding food, Friendly staff, Cats!!!

Superb little restaurant

The food was amazing, dessert too (tiramisu!), perfect service. The only issue is that there’s not much space to sit, but perfectly doable for two people.

Cons: Not a lot of space so not suited for big groups
