Nice small shop with vegan items, I decided to visit the shop because I received a discount code from the NVV (Dutch Association for Veganism), just like all the other members.

While I was in the back of shop I heard the employee having a strange conversation with a 'customer' who called. The 'customer' wanted to tell something, and the employee was a bit defensive in the way of talking about not being the owner and that they could not do anything and they should email if they wanted to say/share something. Don't know what the person on the other side of the telephone line said. But I did not found this very pleasant, and made me feel a bit uncomfortable, mainly because of the unkind way the employee answered called. Afterwards I looked up some google reviews, and read that another customer had a not so pleasant experience with an employee (where is was also mentioned that they were not the owner). And I find it a bit odd that there is a need to mention that so explicitly.

Vegan shop with clothing, shoes, candy, vegan dogfood and some other vegan goodies. They offer a nice amount of dog candy (my dog loved the seaweed sticks) and also some test samples of vegan dogfood so that your dog can choose his own favorite food!

The existence of this place is amazing by default. I love having a vegan shop in Amsterdam. And recently they started doing events too, and they do it well. I went with some friends to the cheesetasting and overall it was just a fun 2-hour experience. Very good for business as everyone ends up buying something, either the cheese, something new to try or something they need at the time. The place really has a lot of variety of vegan stuff, from dog food to dress shoes to activist t-shirts to a fridge full of vegan cheese. I’m so grateful for the existence of this place.

Vegan brands are often online only and it’s difficult to tell if shoes will fit well or feel comfortable. Here you can try them on. I bought slip ons from Matt and Nat, which I would never have known how tightly they fit without trying them on.

The store is conveniently located in the center of Amsterdam and the staff are very friendly. It also has quite a few vegan selections that I haven't really seen anywhere else! There's also quite a few vegan pet foods and snacks.

2017 - I haven't been to the new location yet, but visited the shop on the old location a couple of times.
That was a rather small shop, stacked with goodies. Also some nice books, and T-shirts with prints.
Ordered a pair of shoes through the webshop once, everything went very smooth.

The woman at the shop is extremely helpful and friendly and I recommend this place to anyone who asks me where to get safety footwear from. Good selection of non-clothes items at the back too, including pet food.

Good assortment of vegan clothes, shoes, books, sustainable health care and sweets. The shopkeeper was so helpful and friendly. It was our first day in Amsterdam and she spent time talking to us, helping my partner choose his shoes and offering us tips for vegan places to support (Willicroft vegan cheese shop) and places to get an authentic Bruin Cafe experience that caters for vegans (cafe kuyl - unfortunately upon arrival we realised it’s only suitable for vegetarians).

I like their variety of vegan stuff. When it comes to fashion, they have a good selection of shoes for different seasons and some (activistic) clothing, undergarments, bags and wallets. They have quite some socks and belts, also for men.
