Wonderful food! - Edit
Such an interesting menu - we were there for brunch. I’ll attach three pictures of what my husband, his friend and I got. My husband and I really liked our food. His friend liked the crepe filling but wasn’t excited about the crepe (which looked like an omelette).

So Many Delicious Options - Edit
Everything is vegan, and everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. It’s such a treat dining here, and I’m always looking forward to my next visit back. The one thing I think I’ll always get is the Spring Bruschetta because that dish blows my mind every time.

Nothing makes me happier than having a full menu to chose from. It was so good, please get their spring bruschetta and their butterfly sweet pea tea refresher is amazing. The breakfast burrito 10/10. I haven’t disliked anything, I love them.

Delicious food! - Edit
This restaurant is fully vegan so you don’t have to worry about anything not being vegan here. I ordered the Crepe Florentine with a lavender kombucha. After, I had the Bread Pudding a la Mode for dessert. The crepe did not have much flavor. I could not taste the almond or coconut from the ricotta or pesto. The kombucha was ok and the dessert was delicious! The server who helped me was very kind and answered all my questions. Would totally go back!

Made from scratch gourmet - Edit
Everything is delicious! It’s obvious it’s all made from scratch. Some of the appetizers are my favorites, especially the oyster mushroom calamari. Tomato bisque is not the best and still pretty good. Rosemary and potato Gnocchi topped with kale and shrooms are a delight. If you drink, get The Toad! It’s super yummy!
Read morePros: Made from scratch, Display/host local artists, Yummy food AND alcoholic drinks! (Not weak either)

Top 5 Sacramento restaurant - Edit
Veg has really grown some vegan roots and I'm here for it.
Read moreThey didn't start out as a fully vegan restaurant, but in the Spring of 2019 they finally ditched the remaining animal products. In their infancy the menu was small and repetitive, but they have since blossomed into a fantastic vegan restaurant that sets a high standard for Sacramento. At this point I truly believe Veg competes with some better-known Bay Area vegan establishments.
Weekend brunches are terrific and the 2nd floor space has a lot of natural light and room for groups, which I appreciate.
The rotating seasonal dinner menu is not to be missed. Their specials tend to be awesome examples of why everyone should eat more plants. I also appreciate that although they do feature some dishes with imitation meats, they don't rely on them. The menu is filled plant-based goodness.
If you haven't tried Veg you're missing out. #Veganuary
Pros: Seasonal Menu, Excellent brunch offerings, Heavy on the plants, less on the imitation meats
Cons: They use Naked Coffee as their house coffee

Very midtown arts vibe. Good date night or lunch location but maybe too small for larger parties.
Menu was small but had variety.
Gnocci was ok. But the cauliflower fritters were amazing with good texture and yummy sauce. Service was good even though was busy.
Pros: Rotating menu, Friendly staff, All vegan menu
Cons: Stairs/elevator , No parking, Not great for large parties

Wow! - Edit
There are good vegan restaurants and there are great vegan restaurants. This is the latter. I had the crepe, it was abundant with layers of delicious texture, so filling, and I loved the use of chickpea to create an almost omelette consistency—lots of thought and obvious creativity put into these dishes. Thank you for the dining experience!

A Vegan Must - Edit
What's not to like about this wonderful place? Everything from the ambience, first class service to world class melt in your mouth food offerings is making this my go-to spot. If you want the best IMO vegan spot in NorCal than you've must try this place. We started with Crispy Brussel Sprouts, a wonderful appetizer. The wife's entree was the Fettuccine alla Vodka and I had the Crepe Florentine the flavor, textures and seasonings were on point. We shared Aaron's fries and they were amazing. We both had the Raspberry Italian Soda excellent. And we shared a delicious New York Cheesecake with the best cherry compote ever.

I came here for lunch while visiting an old friend in Sacramento. He’s a total carnivore. And we were both so pleased with the food ! They happened to have a 3-course special, which we both ordered. I would definitely come here again if I’m back in Sacramento.

Always delicious! - Edit
Tastiest creative vegan dishes. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant before; I've been here many times, ordered lots of takeout during COVID lockdown - wanted to make sure they stayed in business. The latest visit, I ordered the bruschetta, curry bowl and a special - grilled mushrooms with mash potatoes and gravy. Fantastic! The freshest ingredients and fabulous flavors. The foodie omnivore that accompanied was quite impressed, couldn't believe that EVERYTHING was vegan. And the summer cocktail menu is delicious and refreshing. I had an old fashioned, and a sip of my companion's bourbon drink - something with strawberries.

great vegan food in Sacramento - Edit
I recently went here with my beloved. It was amazing on all fronts.
Read moreWe loved the food, great service, and enjoyed the ambiance.
We wished there was a Veg Cafe in the Bay Area for we would visit here once a week if that was the case.
I went with the Crepe Florentine that was very tasty and good size portion. My beloved had the Curry Bowl. She enjoyed it.
She went with a cocktail that she enjoyed and I had a ginger lemonade that was quite alright.
We also went with a side order of French fries that were stellar with a tasty side of vegan ranch.
For dessert we had a vegan ice cream and this was the least favorite of everything we ordered yet everything else was superb.
We will definitely be back next time we visit here!
Pros: great vegan food, nice ambience

The food was so good! I had a chickpea flour crepe (so hard to find crepes that aren’t made with white flour!) stuffed with potatoes, vegan pesto and almond ricotta. The almond ricotta was delicious! It’s a cute, cozy place. Can’t wait to go back. Service was on the slow side but it wasn’t too bad.
