Get kitted out in the bat cave! - Edit
I visited Ve & Fasa at their new address on Folkungagatan which they'd only just moved into. It's not far from their previous shop on Södermalm. They now share a space with a dress maker, tailor and two artists/painters. It's more of a warehouse for the goods they carry but they're still open on Fridays for customers to collect web shop orders and try on their clothing.
Read moreI was greeted by one half of the duo behind the shop. She was super friendly and attentive and happy to answer any questions regarding their products. She also gave me a mini-tour of their new space.
Apart from clothing with badass vegan and feminist statements they also sell jewellery, watches and scented candles. Many of the brands are Swedish and hand-picked to ensure top quality and ethical production methods. You can tell that the duo are very passionate about their endeavour. I love the metal, gothic aesthetic that runs through the whole concept down to their name which is a Swedish expression that can be loosely translated into "Shock and horror!".
I felt like I could have definitely hung out for longer if it hadn't been 30 degrees on the day of my visit and nearing closing time. I'm looking forward to visiting again and seeing what more they come up with in the future. Very inspiring!
