Hanging Spot - Edit
Nice venue to hang out on the dock or their terrace. They have several vegan snack options. The newest addition is the cookie, which is a bit on the crunchy dry side - so don't expect a fudgy chewy cookie.
Read moreDo check their social media to see if they're open, because they are closed at random days and in case you want to buy bread; they also mention on their socials when bread hasn't been made.

A real win for Groningen! - Edit
This area used to be a deserted gas station but the municipality created a nice park here with a place to sit along the water as well. On top of that Vandeeg Vandaag opened a bakery in the old gas station building. They have delicious buns (cardamom, cinnamon and a special one). They also offer some more hearty bread options but I still have to try those. They serve specialty coffee as well. Really worth to grab something and enjoy it in the park.
