Heidelberg doesn’t have too many vegan options so I was happy to find this. also love that their vegan options come without cheese. the pizza is not exactly to my taste - it’s very doughy, i prefer it thinner/crispier. that’s personal taste though so you might like it better😄

Auswahl aus fünf verschiedenen veganen Pizzen. Die veganen Pizzen schmecken super, auch ohne veganen Käse oder ähnliches. Pizza Funghi mit frischen Pilzen, Tomaten und Rucola ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auf den Tischen steht zusätzlich noch Olivenöl und Chiliflocken.

Lovely place to have some yummy pizza in the older part of Heidelberg. They offer around 5 vegan options, all without vegan cheese alternatives but with fresh and delicious veggies (e.g. eggplants or mushrooms). The size and prize is fair and we were more than happy with what we got. I always love thick, chewy pizza crust, so this place was heaven for me😄Can be full at times, so be prepared to wait some time to be seated (but it's worth it).

Fully 2/3 of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. The pizzas themselves not too pricey. My friend and I ordered a vegan Funghi and a Kapern&Olive and split both. I thought both were good, especially the Funghi.

I really liked the vegan options. They only offer healthy toppings for the vegan pizzas, no vegan cheese. The pizza was still very tasty with a very juicy, focaccia-like dough. Cozy atmosphere, but only a few seats.

Unfortunately, the hummus option was out when we went there in the afternoon.
Homemade juices were good as well.
Friendly and peaceful atmosphere with a couple of seats outside.

Eine nette Pizzeria in einer hübschen kleinen Nebenstraße, wo man schön draußen sitzen kann. Ich war erst positiv überrascht, da gleich mehrere vegane Pizzen gekennzeichnet waren. Leider war meine Pizza aber keine"richtige Pizza" mit veganem Käse, wie man es eigentlich erwartet, wenn diese extra als vegan ausgeschildert ist, sondern einfach ohne Käse. Der Teig war sehr lecker und gut gebacken, der Rest leider ziemlich unspektakulär und die Tomatensauce war kaum gewürzt. Kann ich für vegane Pizzaliebhaber leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Try the vegan hummus pizza! - Edit
I have tried two of the four vegan pizzas here so far: the “Pizza Rossa” which basically only consists of pizza dough, a looot of tomatoes, tomato sauce and some basil 🌿. It was yummy, but not really what I would expect from a pizza, more like “pizza bread with tomatoes”. The other one I’ve tried is the “Pizza Hummus” and holy moly, I’d definitely recommend that one! I have to say that it isn’t really what you picture a pizza to be like either, since instead of the usual tomato sauce, there’s just a lot of hummus on top, but it’s super delicious and also comes with rucola and mushrooms :-)

The pizzas at "Unter Freunden" are fresh and delicious as hell. They cut your piece of pizza in the size you want and put it straight into the oven. There's also a big assortment of juices and smoothies that are all fresh made and yum. In addition to that the place is nicely decorated as well.

If you're after a healthy drink in the city, this is the place to go to. All smoothies are vegan. When I was there they also had 2 vegan pizza choices. Cool thing is that you choose how much you want and pay by weight. They also do coffee drinks with plantbased milks.
