Vegan-friendly boutique hostel in Phuket Old Town, located above Ubuntu Eat, a fully vegan café. Offers private balcony rooms, female and mixed dorms, and shared bathrooms. The Akasha rooftop space serves as a common area for guests. Open Mon-Sat 6:00am-6:00am. Ubuntu Live is a vegan B&B/accommodation and therefore does not have conventional opening and closing hours. The property operates daily for staying guests. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Guests arriving outside regular check-in hours should contact us in advance.

More Than a Vegan Stay - A Little Home in Phuket - Edit
I’ve had the unique experience of watching Ubuntu Live grow right in front of me — from the initial design and ideas to seeing every room take shape. I also got to try the different rooms during the trial phase, which made it interesting to experience how each one has its own personality.
Read moreJal (Water) is the most spacious private room, with a king-size bed and balcony. It feels calm and is great for couples or anyone wanting more personal space.
Agni (Fire) is a cosy private room with a queen-size bed and its own balcony — smaller and intimate, but very comfortable.
Prithvi (Earth) is the 4-bed female dorm. It feels cosy and is a nice option for solo female travellers who want the hostel experience without a large dorm.
Vayu (Air) is the 6-bed mixed dorm — brighter, more social and ideal for travellers who enjoy meeting other people.
Akasha (Space) is the common space, where guests can relax, meet and connect — which fits beautifully with the whole Ubuntu philosophy.
And for a vegan traveller, the best part is that Ubuntu Eat, a fully vegan café, is literally downstairs. You’re also right in the heart of Phuket Old Town, so you can walk out and start exploring.
I’ve seen how much thought has gone into creating this little place, and it’s wonderful to finally see it become a home for travellers. 🌿💚
