The Best Vegan Ice Cream in Berlin, Period - Edit
I’d heard so many good things about Tribeca Ice Cream and finally made it there - and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype. Hands down the best vegan ice cream in Berlin, no question! Honestly, it’s on the same level as Veganista in Vienna and that’s saying something because that’s god-tier ice cream.
Read moreThe creative flavors, the dreamy texture, the balance of sweetness - just perfection. We tried Lemon Poppy Crumble, Yuzu Cheesecake (crazy good!), Blue Coconut, and one that tasted like Snickers with whole peanuts — a total dream. The homemade waffle cones are also fantastic!
They offer a great variety of sauces, ice cream sandwiches (not really my thing, but nice option), Spaghetti Eis, and takeaway tubs. I honestly can’t wait to go back and try my way through the entire menu.

If you visit non-vegan ice cream places it still happens that there only vegan options are sorbet. It‘s therefore a pleasure to find a full-vegan store with such a large variety. Very taste, I can totally recommend it.

I came here twice as I almost always seemed to be in the area for my lunches and it was a nice little treat. The first time I got yuzu cheesecake and pistachio. The yuzu cheesecake had a nice pleasant citrus flavour to it and some nice little biscuit chunks. The pistachio had plenty of flavour coming through.
Read moreOn my second visit I got hazelnut baobab and oat milk strachiatella. I don't really know what baobab is but there was a good hazelnut flavour there. The flavour in the oat milk strachiatella wasn't very strong but I enjoyed the chocolate bits.
All of the flavours I tried had great creamy textures and I'd happily go back and try some more. It's a shame that the double chocolate and hazelnut was only being sold in tubs and not by the scoop.

I'm not a huge fan of ice cream but this place is amazing. Many interesting flavours available. Me and my friend were asked if we wanted to try any before making a decision which was really nice. I had Bienenstich ice cream with caramelised nuts as a topping and it was super tasty!!

Like others have said, I am said that Balaram is no longer, however glad that there is another plant based ice cream shop. They do Spaghetti Eis, which (West) Germans will have grown up with, and various creamy ice creams. They have a collaboration with Brammibals and I tried the Bienenstich flavour, which I liked. A scoop is 2,60 Euro, whipped cream 1 Euro. They also offer toppings and sauces, as extra, which I didn’t try. The whipped cream is on the heavy and not sweet side. I will skip it next time.

It’s nice to still have a fully vegan ice cream place! But it’s pricey and not very flexible. Can’t have one scoop with two favors, small portion is only for children.
