If you're stuck in Roppongi - Edit
Not many options around here besides this one. Service was as you'd expect from this country. The food was tasty. Price is too much and portions too small.

Just really great food. We had a curry and a ramen. The curry was good, and the ramen was the best we have had in Japan so far.

The food we ordered (ramen, curry and vegetables in tomato sauce) were very delicious. Especially the ramen is recommendable. Also, the staff is very nice, 2 men came a few minutes late for the last order and they served them still food.

Good vegan food - Edit
We came in very hungry after a long day of walking, place was a bit crowded but we got some window seats. Staff was nice and gave us the new menu for dinner, we ordered the ramen, fruity curry, shiso fries, and portobello mushroom steak. The dishes all came out one by one.
Read moreFries came out first, and I think there is something wrong with the fries in Japan, because every fry we’ve had here were all soggy and not crispy at all, same with these, they were salted nicely and the shiso leaves did add a nice flavor.
Portobello steak came out next, it was topped with miso onions, and it was pretty good, texture was good but the miso flavor was very overpowering.
Next came the main courses, the ramen and the curry. Ramen was decent, had a lot of onion in it but was overall pretty good, not the best we’ve had so far. The curry was also decent, rice was good, curry had a nice flavor and the toppings were fresh, but it didn’t hit the spot for me.
Finally we also ordered dessert, the doughnut with ice cream and raspberry sauce, and if anything just go in and order dessert because this one was heavenly, warm and soft, sugary donut topped with some delicious ice cream and raspberry coulis. We almost licked our plates clean that’s how good it was!
Overall a decent place, cozy atmosphere, a bit on the pricey side though for what you get, dessert is a must have!
Pros: Full vegan menu, Heavenly dessert, Friendly staff
Cons: Bit pricey, Limited inside seating

Likeable - Edit
Tokyo has a new vegan restaurant and I like it! Let me explain why. It starts with the location. "Tosso Hoba" is located in Roppongi, on top of exit 1b on the Hibiya Line station. It's literally just a few steps from that exit. The restaurant looks fresh and positive thanks to orange accent. It has indoor and outdoor seating.
Read moreThe menu offers a lot of variety including starters and desserts. I chose the spring rolls as a starter and they were excellent: fresh, crispy vegetables, well combined with a spicy dip on the side. As a mains I opted for the ramen. It comes with bamboo shoots done just right. Otherwise it's a somewhat simple ramen, but not bad in any way.
After this first visit my verdict is that Tosso Hoba is a likeable place because it offers modest food at modest prices. Therefore I plan to visit this nice place again and try some of the other items on the menu!
Pros: positive vibes, good food, good prices

Ate here as I suffer with severe milk, shellfish and nut allergy so want some good vegan food to keep it easy. Ramen was delicious and the server was really good at understanding my allergies

Small portions, but tasty food - Edit
This vegan restaurant is well situated, near many famous buildings and streets in Roppongi. I just noticed it was all vegan when I was already there, was surprised with so many options, they were all delicious, the portions are quite small, but I believe that happens every time I read “Bistro” in a restaurant names 😂

Different delicious - Edit
We tried 2 smaller dishes and 2 mains: the spring rolls, mushroom steak, Mille feuille and ramen. The ramen especially was excellent, but all the food was fresh and delicious. Cute fit out, very clean, friendly staff who asked about our travels. Excellent all round.

Nice Find on a Rainy Night - Edit
It didn't show up in my search while we were frantically looking for a place to eat in Roppongi. How lucky were we to stumble upon this place during a storm! We love any restaurant where we can order anything off the menu. The ramen, curry, mushrooms, and truffle salt fries were delicious. Any time you can get an 8 and 6 year old to finish all their food, you know it's good! They also serve beer and wine, which was just icing on the cake!

I went home feeling happy - Edit
After reading the review from McMalloy, we decided to give this place a chance. We went for the ramen and it did not disappoint. So much flavor in the broth. The noodles were on point! Some bamboo shoots there? (I didn't ask what was it). So good. The atmosphere is nice. I Shazamed some songs while we were here! And we discovered that they sell doughnuts during the day, which hands down is the best doughnuts Ive ever had (including the non vegan that I had). I wish you well Tosso/Hoba/Oscar Wilde 🗻🍀

Very tasty ramen - Edit
The ramen here was super good. The broth was very rich in flavour and the noodles were very chewy and good. I also had the fresh spring rolls which were really good and indeed super fresh. There is also a onit shop «Oscar Wilde» and a take-out curry place «HOBA» in the same complex. I would really recommend the donuts because they are absolutely fantastic.

First review - it’s a hit! - Edit
Tosso is a cute, tiny place (though outdoor seating makes it not impossible to get a table). I’m excited to be their first reviewer, as they only opened recently! It’s either the same owners or a shared space with the donut store around the corner, and Tosso also offers a donut dessert (though the donuts were sold out when I was there).
Read moreTheir ramen sounded pretty basic—noodles, a soy-based broth, and green onions—and I’ve had ramen three times in the last two days, so I skipped it. Instead my party split a bunch of side dishes and appetizers, which was really fun. Everything was good and some things were great. My ratings:
-Fresh Spring Rolls: excellent
-Carrot Salad: excellent but a little small
-French fries with shiso: excellent for fries (the shiso is a great touch) but they’re fries so you kinda know what to expect
-Turnips and green onions in tomato sauce: very good. Each component was excellent but the dish didn’t totally gel for me.
-warm mushrooms salad: very good and fresh but a little simple.
For dessert I had the strawberry parfait and it was exquisite.
FYI the menu marks the dessert parfait as vegan but no other items for some reason. I double-checked and it is a vegan restaurant.
Sorry I forgot to take photos of the food but I’ve grabbed some snaps of the menu!
