Fantastic vegan fast food - Edit
I had the Täschle, which is like a Döner. Shredded tofu, browned onions, tomatoes, lettuce, kraut and pickles. It was fantastic especially the mustard sauce! For everyone who misses a Döner, Hot dog or hamburger.

As a former lover of bratwurst turned vegan, it was nice to visit Germany and still enjoy a sausage. The bun was just as good as the tofu. I hope to eat from here again before I go home. Bonus - it is located in the cathedral square where there are several other vendors...nice market.

This is pure childhood nostalgia for me - reminds of how when I was a kid we would get a bratwurst sandwich from the farmers' market after school once in a while, only that this one is 100% vegan!

The stand offers vegan hot dogs produced by the local tofu company Taifun, so it is a great opportunity to taste some of their products. This stand is a vegan oasis in the middle of a daily BBQ feast going on around it.

Un stand sur la place de la cathédrale. Le tofu est très bon. Il y a environ 6 choix de sandwich au tofu de disponible ; ils sont petits mais très peu chers. Quitte à manger un fast food autant qu'il soit bon et végan :)

They have a good selection of vegan sausages and burgers. It was very filling and amazingly delicious. They are very friendly. I would absolutely recommend coming here. I came twice!

I love Taifun tofu so was happy to discover that they have decided to open a stand in the Muensterplatz. Muensterplatz is where the daily market happens, with many stalls selling "curry wurst", the most popular German fast food and it's good to finally have a vegan option available.
Read moreI've tried few of their sandwiches (e.g. the one with smoked tofu), curry wurst and tofu salad - it's all nice but more because of the location and atmosphere, not so much because of the food itself.
If you want to have a quick bite on the way that's a perfect place. If you want an actual meal, keep looking:)
Pros: great location, good quality organic tofu, friendly staff
Cons: market closes at 2pm, small choice, few extras to choose from
