Superb Indonesian Dishes! - Edit
It's a little pricey. But that's the only negative thing we have to say.
Read moreOtherwise the menu had a number of excellent Vegan options, and mostly gluten free as well. The tempeh dishes were excellent and the chilli was HOT! It is a testament to authentic and excellent Indonesian cuisine, rich in flavour and full of spice. We did not anticipate to find such quality Asian food in the UK or Europe, but Toba certainly delivered.
The restaurant itself is modestly sized, but both modern and upmarket - the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent service on the whole.
Fun Fact: Toba is named after Lake Toba, the largest natural lake in North Sumatra
Side Note: The owner has an nearby coffee shop, serving Indonesian coffee.
