We’ve had vegan sushi all over the world and this was on par with my all time favorite, Sushi Domo in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The server here in Berlin was super nice and attentive. She speaks fluent English as well as German, which is good, because the menu is exclusively in German. As constant travelers, this is expected for us, but it is worth noting on a mostly-English website. My husband lived in Germany and could navigate the menu, but I used google translate. Overall, I would absolutely come here again and recommend it. I loved the colored rice mixture as the forbidden rice gave an extra bite to the texture and the presentation was on-point. The tableware consists of a spoon, fork, and what appear to be wooden chopsticks.
Read moreThe flavors weren’t overpowering and were well balanced. We started with a Pink Tiger smoothie, light soup (miso soup), and the summer rolls. The summer rolls come with a peanut sauce that has a slight curry flavor, which was a nice change from the norm. The smoothie was a tasty mix of red berries and mint. It came with a glass straw (extra points for the lack of single-use plastics in the restaurant!)
We picked four different sushi rolls and got four apiece which we shared between two people. It was more than enough food and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I am the mother or two children who I went there with. The waiter was disgusting. I have been there before and the other lady working there was lovely.
Read moreThe waiter, older Vietnames guy, on this occassion, spent most of the time joking around with the Italian waiter at the next restaurant and i had to wait ages each time we wanted to order.
Their credit card machine didn't work and i tried 3 cards. Was with my kids so no other adult there to pay cash for me. I showed him the balance on my account to show there wasnt a reason for it to not pay. I didn't have any id to leave with him and go get the cash. He came with me to the cash point.
But complained all the way walking, not even saying sorry to me for my inconvenience. He treated me like I was a criminal going to run away. He constantly lectured me in very bad German so was hard to understand and when u-bahn with cashpoint was closed, he started yelling you have to pay, and being abusive. I told him we have to go to the bank nearby and he then grabbed my arm and screamed you have to pay. I was already insulted but now was angry at this physical assault and screaming on the street. I told him i would call the police. He shut up then, and kept lecturing on the walk to the next cashpoint, even though now fed up I told him to shut up.
Awful awful awful experience. And no apology in the whole thing. I have no way to write to the owners so hope this will get to them as they should do something about this guy.

Amazing sushi! - Edit
All vegan sushi restaurant with delicious sushi creations. They use seitan, tofu, jackfruit, vegan mayo, vegan cream cheese and a variety of fresh veggies. The rice was lilac. But even the simple Makis (avo and seitan) were so delicious! We were two people and had two starters, 1 x Maki, 2 x Inside out, 1 x 4 special rolls and a dessert & the price was absolutely fair for that.

Try the Tiger Rolls! - Edit
I really liked the Tiger Rolls (Especially the Avo Maria version!). Also try out their Jackfruit sushis! The simple sushi rolls with only one filling (I guess they’re called Maki) were pretty plain, but I guess that’s how Maki Sushi is supposed to be. I also had a traditional drink with vegan condensed “milk” which was way too sweet for me, but again, that’s probably how it’s supposed to taste. Overall, it was a little too expensive but if I came here again, I would probably only take the fancier kinds of sushi.

We had amazing sushi there, made with so much expertise, creativity and love and the staff (family?) was nice. A little bit slow but since it is not ready-made from a fridge, totally understandable. The sticky rice dessert was also very good.

This all vegan sushi restaurant serves non traditional sushi- it serves Vietnamese / Thai/ Japanese sushi with ingredients like jackfruit, vegan caviar, mango, and chili mayo. The sushi pieces are rolled a bit more sloppily than in a traditional sushi restaurant, but the food is tasty. Also has sticky rice desserts and Vietnamese coffee with vegan condensed milk.

Judging by other reviews we should have stuck with the vegan sushi as that was really tasty. Not so convinced by the hot udon and rice dishes we ordered . They lacked in flavour and were a bit too salty. By contrast, the sticky rice dessert was nice. Generally, having lived in Japan it is always difficult to replicate the experience when abroad. So although the lunch wasn’t a complete success I would go back for more sushi.

Best vegan sushi ever - Edit
We had dinner here early Feb 2020. It was delicious. They have a menu translated to English. Food is delivered quickly and the taste is incredible. The use Taro sushi rice for the sushi and it is wonderful. We had a bunch of the specialty rolls and several desserts. The price was reasonable and the restaurant is clean. We will come back here next time we visit.

Hatten ein Mango Curry und eine Jackfruit-Tofu Bowl zum Mittag. Die Jackfrucht war angenehm scharf durch Chili, beides sehr ansprechend serviert und super lecker. Kommen gern wieder.

Best Sushi I've ever had - Edit
I think this place really offers the best Sushi I've had so far. The variations are great and everything fits together so deliciously. We came here the last evening of our Berlin trip, if we'd found that place earlier, we would definitely have come back again. Take away in our own boxes was no problem and they still garnished the Sushi super nicely. The owner and an employee were very cute, telling us a lot about their homecountry Vietnam.
