Friendly staff but confusing menu - Edit
After deciding that the Nutella French toast (which had a vg) seemed to be the best option for breakfast I checked with the owner if it was actually vegan. Unsurprisingly after checking with the kitchen he confirmed that it did have milk powder in it. I said I’m vegan so don’t eat any dairy/ meat, can the dish be made to my diet. I had a bad feeling and when it arrived it was very clearly traditional French toast made with eggs. At this point I felt like a pain but pointed out the menu states the dish as vegan and was confirmed it would be. He was very apologetic and instead I had some toast with fruit (for the same price). There were also baked eggs on the menu with VG so I’m unsure if this restaurant understands the difference between vegan and vegetarian.

Disappointing Breakfast - Edit
Ordered the Full Vegan breakfast and my partner ordered the Vegan Stack. Both were very dry and bland the toast was not ‘buttered’ and the baked beans portion was tiny so couldn’t make the bread softer or less dry. The sausages were a little dry and tasteless too. I had a flat white with soya milk which they charged extra for. I won’t come back.

Very welcoming staff - some good vg options - Edit
I liked the food but I couldn't really enjoy it because I was sat on a really uncomfortable stool type seat instead of a proper chair. It just ruined the experience.

Great East End place - Edit
Was looking for a place for a vegan lunch on a Monday (so many places shut on Mondays!) and was really glad to finally try here, as they have quite a few good vegan options. I was looking for something light so just had a seitan burger. My friend had an Open Roll with seitan, which was quite a similar dish.

Breakfast - Edit
My favourite vegan breakfast in all of Glasgow. Great atmosphere to sit in but takeaway is also an option since covid. Have never been there in the evening but hope to do so, evening menu looks tasty with a few vegan options.
