Fantastic vegan afternoon teas - Edit
We've been to a couple of The Vegan Cakery's afternoon tea events and they're utterly beautiful. They choose gorgeous venues, dress the tables so prettily, and create a gently elegant environment with soothing background music. The service is top-notch and the vegan food is always amazing and quite innovative - there's always something new to try and enjoy. We plan to go again!

Amazing afternoon tea! - Edit
We had a fabulous time at the afternoon tea at Keston Village Hall in Bromley, it really was amazing!
Read moreWe were greeted Marc who was so lovely and shown to a table where Marc talked us through the afternoon. We got a complimentary glass of Prosecco and gazpacho shot, both were delightful. We got to pick from a selection of 11 teas, which were laid out on the table so that we could smell them and pick our favourite. I had the Earl Grey and my partner had the Mr Turmeric, both were delicious!
For our first course we had six different sandwiches each, all of them were super tasty.
The second and third courses came out together, which were of scones with blackcurrant conserve, cream and butter, and a plate of sweet treats. The scones were unbelievable, warm and beautiful with the conserve and cream. The sweet treats were also amazing!
Overall the whole experience was really lovely and we had a wonderful time!

Wonderful afternoon tea! - Edit
Me and my partner were excited to attend the afternoon tea at Keston Village Hall in Bromley last week, and it was amazing!
Read moreOn arrival we were greeted warmly by Marc and shown to a table where Marc made us feel at home and talked us through the afternoon. We were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco (which was a nice surprise!) and a gazpacho in a shot glass. I'm not really big on either generally, but my partner loved both of them and said that the Prosecco was the best she’d tasted! We also got to pick from a selection of 11 teas, which were all laid out in little pots on the table so that we could smell them and pick our favourite. My partner went for the Earl Grey and I went for the Mr Turmeric, which I thought sounded intriguing as it had 47 ingredients! Both teas were delicious and served in glass tea pots which was fun!
It was a three course afternoon tea and our first course consisted of six different sandwiches each. They were all really good and my personal favourites were the eggless and cress and the ‘cheese’ and spring onion.
The second and third courses came out together and consisted of scones with blackcurrant conserve, cream and butter, and a plate of sweet treats.
The scones were amazing! They were warm and soft, and were really delicious with the conserve and cream.
The final course of sweet treats was also just amazing! The pastry horn and the doughnut were really good but the crumble & custard and the Pavlova really stole the show for me. The Pavlova was just incredible - the meringue was perfection and melted in my mouth and the flavour was just amazing. And again the crumble and custard was just incredible - the flavour was absolutely stunning!
The whole experience was really lovely – the venue was cute with a lovely ambience, Marc was a wonderful host and the food was sensational! If you can't make it to one of their afternoon teas they also do deliveries so you can still try their amazing goodies! #Veganuary
Pros: Absolutely delicious sweet treats, Marc is lovely, £35 each was good value

Incredible Afternoon Tea! - Edit
We went for an afternoon tea in the cute building, The Old Grammar School, built in 1614 (Market Harborough).
Read moreThe afternoon teas take place in various locations across the midlands so check their website for upcoming dates.
We had an amazing time! We often pick up cakes from The Vegan Cakery at vegan festivals as they are our go-to because their cakes are so delicious so we were very excited for the afternoon tea and we were not disappointed!
Everything was very sophisticated and we were so full after all of the amazing flavours!
We had lime mousse and Prosecco to start, followed by a selection of tea and sandwiches, then cakes and scones. All incredible. Can’t fault any of it. Beautiful food!
Really admire the ethics of this company as they are not-for-profit and do a lot of work for charities and sanctuaries.
Really lovely people too!
100% would recommend!

Best vegan treats - Edit
I always grab something from the Vegan Cakery when I’m in Cafe Mbriki in Leicester centre. The cakes are awesome and my non-vegan family love them just as much as I do- the vegan Cakery is great in that it isn’t just your everyday tray-bakes etc, but bakes that are rare to find veganised such as Battenberg cake! The price is so affordable compared to other vegan cake companies.

Amazing Bakewell Tart - Edit
We were able to order and collect at the Evesham Vegan Fair. Which was awesome because they are very popular and sell out quick!! So this guaranteed we got a Bakewell Tart.
Read moreThe Bakewell Tart was absolutely delicious 🤤, it filled all of our expectations, and we wished we had got one of the other flavours as well. The texture, and flavour was all there. I would highly recommend this ‘Cakery’. Also if you can, I would recommend placing an order in advance to collect in the day.
The price is good for the size of the Tart.
Pros: Fully Vegan , Amazing Tart, Good Price
Cons: No Worcester store selling them
