Great food, friendly place - Edit
We ordered the Chinese dumplings, fried dumplings, bang bang tofu, salt & pepper fries, cauli wings and the pancake. Everything was delicious - the bang bang tofu was my favourite. We shared this between two people and were a bit defeated by the end of it. Everything was reasonably priced considering how tasty and filling it was.

Fyi - for those who doesn't like mushrooms, besides the Kimchi dumplings, all the other dumplings have mushrooms in it.
Read moreALSO, not all the drinks are vegan, we ordered a beer, drank some, it was good, but then googled it and turns out it's was not vegan :(
Kimchi dumplings was good, a bit stuck together but had good flavour and texture, the chilli oil (not spicy) left a coating on the tongue though as oils do so 4.8/5.
Bang bang tofu, the creamy sauce is Tahini, or something extremely similar to Tahini. The tofu is DENSE and comes in 3 tofu triangles with lovely finely chopped vegetables, for me I don't like the Tahini taste so 3.5/ 5, partner loved it, 5/5.
Salt and pepper tofu was awesome, loved it, 5/5.
Salt and pepper fries, I loved it even more than the salt and pepper tofu! The onions on there was deliciously caramelised. Plus the portion was bigger! 5/5.
Scallion pancake was pretty good, shame that is just came as one pancake with a healthy dose of toppings on top. The pancake would have been easier to share if it was cut into triangles. Overall, would have liked another pancake and less toppings! Still, it's 5/5.
Korean wings were good, tasted nice with good textures, could have had more fresh spring onions on top to cut through the strong flavour, 4/5.
Katsu mushrooms were a lot different that I anticipated. The portion was generous but it was just like eating crunchy batter, got a bit too salty and the curry on it was just ok, not enough to balance out the dry katsu(s), 2.5/5.
Nice place, liked the decor, saw several doggos and the staff were great, but they won't necessarily know which drinks are vegan so do your own research before ordering (yes we asked whether they knew which ones were vegan).

Loved all of it. If you have a chance, buy the katsu crispy oyster mushrooms. Not sure that all drinks are vegan so check when ordering

We loved the food here. It's supplied by Dumpling City. We had Korean dumplings, cauli wings, kagawa mushrooms and dirty fries and everything was so nice.

Great FOod - Edit
Really impressed with the Tramshed, a very nicely done out bar with a nice vibe and a cute outdoor space (if you like the bric-a-brac vibe).
Read moreThe fully vegan menu was full of delicious sounding chinese dim sum style options. The fries were also especially good (I fully believe you can tell the quality of a place by the chips/fries). All the food was cooked very well, the Karaage Mushrooms probably being my standout dish, though it was very hard to choose! They have a good selection of beer and drinks too.
Highly recommended.
Pros: Great food, Nice staff, Nice decor

Top tier vegan Asian food - Edit
Incredible Asian food accompanied by a good selection of beers and spirits. Their mushrooms have the best coating, the dumplings are excellent (although I think their Korean ones were the best). I wasn’t actually a fan of their cauliflower wings but I think that could be more due to personal taste than their quality because the other 6 plates I’ve tried are fantastic and my friends all love the cauliflower wings so it’s probably me.

Food 100% vegan now - Edit
Before Covid, The Tramshed had their own kitchen staff, however since reopening they have started to rent out their kitchen to La Fonda (which belongs to Make No Bones), who provide all the food sold in the pub and who are fully vegan. The food is Mexican inspired and there is a good variety of dishes on the menu. We ordered some small dishes to share as well as one of their very large burritos. The portion of cake was also very generous and definitely enough for two. All of the food was delicious and we'll surely be back!

Banging food, relaxed atmosphere - Edit
Walking along Chesterfield Road it is not clear where this place actually is- it's the cool-looking pub with fairy lights in the window! The door on the right is to the restaurant area, although we ate in the main pub area.
Read moreDidn't have the highest expectations from the menu but it really went far beyond the simple descriptions- the "king oyster mushrooms" in the dishes aren't just chopped up, they are made like big strips of fake meat and taste incredible. Look out for the specials too!
Staff friendly and helpful, totally chilled feel and great beers. Tunes cool too.
Overall just a really nice venue for a chilled night minus your standard pub grub, instead some really banging dishes.
Pros: Food, Beers, Atmosphere
