The Roundhill is absolutely fantastic. The roast particularly is exquisite, and the Roundhill burger is proper gourmet. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food and drink. All vegan. Seitan made in-house.. honestly I don't think I can fault it. Treat yourself!!

Nice large portion and the minted 'lamb' was a dream. Staff were lovely and the overall look and feel of the place was well done. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a nice pub with delicious food and drink.

My partner and I visited the Roundhill for a Sunday lunch and we were so impressed. The mint ‘lamb’ was incredible, and all the trimmings were carefully thought out and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and the cocktails were so moreish. Absolutely my new favourite place to eat!

My partner and I were super impressed by The Roundhill - it took us a while to visit as I was as hesitant about their prices. Glad we finally tried because their food is well worth the price. The seitan burger was one of the better ones we’ve tried and both our chocolate-based desserts were amazing.

Absolutely incredible place, beautiful atmosphere, nice and cosy, the staff were fantastic, friendly, relaxed but professional and attentive, the food was outstanding, possibly the best vegan food... wait possibly the best food I have ever had! The presentation was excellent, the flavour combinations were so unique and complemented each other so well! We ordered a few things on the table because everything sounded so good, so we could try as much of the menu as we could, so nice to have so much exciting choice! And most of the menu was gluten free apart from 2 dishes made from seitan, so bonus points there from me!! So happy with this place, it's now a definite spot for a rather special birthday coming up soon!! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!!

We loved this fully vegan pub. We had a selection of the "Small plates" which are really not very small - excellent quality, wish we'd had room for more.

This was our first visit and we plan to return, particularly because all the menu is plant-based. The food was great with generous portions, so much so that we weren’t able to manage desserts! The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel very much at home. This was our first venue for food post-lockdown, so it was reassuring to enjoy a safe experience. The atmosphere and interior style enhanced the whole dining experience. We look forward to our return.

We headed to The Roundhill after a recommendation from a friend and it certainly did not disappoint. Firstly, I was really impressed with the amount of non alcoholic drinks available. Usually the selection in places is pretty sparse and crap so this was a big thumbs up from me 👍 I then chose the buddha bowl and hubby chose the burger. My jaw dropped when I was presented with mine as it was hoofing massive, I ended up with leftovers which is always a bonus. Hubby’s burger looked and tasted unnervingly “meaty” which is obviously the sign of a bloody good vegan burger! Highly recommend making the trip to this, slightly out of the city, pub 👏🌱

I’m incredibly lucky that this is my local pub. It is now purely vegan - so you don’t even have to ask at the bar anymore for the alcohol options. Been a big fan since it opened. The food is delicious and has a variety of options to please all - I’ve taken friends here who aren’t used to plant based food who have loved it, my partner is a real junk food meat-sub loving vegan and always wants to go here and I prefer the healthier non-meat-sub vegan food which never fails to please. On Sundays they offer a selection of roast options (yes, with vegan Yorkshire’s!). They have various nights where there’s music, poetry, etc. if that takes your fancy. The staff are really friendly, as are the rest of the clientele. Highly recommend. A breath of fresh air - paving the way for local pubs.

I went with 5 friends for Sunday lunch today. The food was delcious, we had the nut and cranberry roast, delicious vegan yorkshire and cauliflower cheese too. The staff are lovely. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon, early evening. Cosy too. Thank you! Great choice of dishes too, e.g. wild mushroom and leek vol-au-vent

Tried the seitan minted lamb off the new menu and was not disappointed. It’s genius what they’ve done to create this dish! My omni friend had the RH Burger and literally licked the plate clean! The desserts were both absolutely divine! Everything was fresh and hot, creative and delicious and the staff are super friendly. I wish I lived nearer to this place!

The Roundhill offer a fully vegan seasonal menu, which is regularly updated. Everything I’ve eaten there has been incredible and as a result I keep going back for more.
Read moreThey serve up amazing roasts on Sundays with different options to choose from (including minted seitan and a nut roast) and have recently started serving a brunch menu on Friday and Saturdays. I had the scrambled tofu and smoked ‘salmon’ and it was delicious.
The chefs are at the top of their game and recently won a vegan food challenge hosted at another restaurant in Brighton. Their dishes are both innovative, healthy and delicious. Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! Amazing ambience and decor, I could spend there all day just sitting and sipping a tea. Very friendly staff. Food was good and the portions are massive. The place is marked as vegetarian but a member of staff told us everything was vegan.

All the food is vegan, but some dishes have veggie options (e.g. they will use cow's milk to make them on request).
Chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream for dessert was just right - the brownie seemed a bit dry at first but it was perfect to soak up the rich sauce.
Friendly service, nice seating indoors and outside, relaxed atmosphere.

Had a Sunday roast which was sooo yum - it’s so nice to have a choice of vegan roast! Vegan puddings and donuts too and good choice of vegan beer. Our omni friends were a bit shocked we were taking them for veggie roast.....but totally impressed and left feeling more than satisfied
