The Christmas menu is very extensive as is the normal one. It has fake meats and more traditional vegan options. The doggie 3 course menu was enjoyed enthusiastically by Thomas.

As a Londoner I am spoilt for choice when it comes to vegan food. But let me tell you, if you’re ever thinking to travel to The Queen Inn for a vegan feast, whether you’re a vegan or not, you should do it NOW!
Read moreWe had the sharing platter, chilli beef and mac and cheese and chocolate fudge cake and we were incredibly happy with everything that was served to us.
Susan, who was our waitress, has some great customer service and can tell you a good story or two.
We struggled to get a taxi from the station and the pub’s landlord came to pick us up in his red van. If that’s not good customer service, I don’t know what is. Don’t take this as an excuse to ask them to pick you up though 😆

We visited The Queen Inn during October and booked ahead letting them know we had a dog. When we arrived we were shown to our table, given a blanket for our dog and told that he could sit on the bench with us! Then we were presented with the menu which has an incredible amount of food to choose from. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, service was wonderful and it was a delightful to eat at an all vegan pub which was so dog friendly. Attached are the photos of our food - Mac and cheese with bacon, battered tofu and crispy chilli beef to start. Chicken and ribs and beef fajitas for main. We took dessert home to heat up which was also delicious. Can’t wait to go back! #Veganuary

I came here for my birthday as I’ve been meaning to try it for some time. I was so happy to see the regular menu was.m back on from my bday, due to the festive menu being on until Boxing Day.
Read moreI had high expectations as I have seen so many fantastic reviews so I was praying that it was going to be good. And my my, it exceeds my expectations! The food was beautiful and plentiful, the staff were attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t have to wait long for drinks or food and the atmosphere in the pub and restaurant is cosy and welcoming.
Me and my partner shared the mixed grill and we struggled to finish it. The pictures certainly do not do it justice.
Thank you so much for an incredible birthday meal and I am going to be sure to visit the Queen Inn regularly, despite it being two hours from my home!

My recommendations - crispy beef starter (cannot be beaten and there will be riots if it’s ever taken off the menu)
Main - fillet steak - if it was any other place I’d be sending it back and reiterating I ordered the vegan steak. Served with aaallll the sides…. The chips in the peppercorn sauce is spot on!!
Pudding - well you’ll be so full the only option is takeaway!! The menu changes regularly I’ve had the choc fudge many times, stuffed cookies, cookie dough all amazing.
The staff are all brilliant and super friendly, knowledgeable and chatty.
Bonus point is cold weather the fire is lit for super cosy feels.
Ps dogs aren’t just allowed, they actually want you to bring them and have sausages for them on the menu.
There’s also a kids menu that staff will happily adapt to suit your little ones preferences.
I cannot praise the queen inn enough and wish them all the success!
Oh and they have merch so you can spot fellow queen inners out and about! They also do a vegan festival with stalls and vegan ice cream van.

My absolute favorite place to travel to eat. Huge portions of really good food and well thought out menu. It's so nice to have so much choice. The team are always really welcoming and we make an effort to include the Queen Inn in our plans when we're in Wales!

Took my dad here in the summer and he absolutely loved it. He got a classic cheese burger with bacon and I had the lamb kebab. Couldn't believe how realistic the kebab meat tasted (from what I remember haha). Really fresh salad and bread as well. Very happy!

We ate here a couple of months ago, we traveled from Amsterdam to eat here!!!!! It was the most delicious food we ever had! It's such a cosy restaurant, the owners are wonderful and everyone that works there. The food was soooooo nice, we still can't believe it!!!! We ate so much. We really really wish we'd live closer. We would visit every week or more if possible......Thank you!!!!!

Second time visiting and the food was incredible yet again! We took our dog with us and the staff made a big fuss of him as it was his birthday and he loved his doggy sausages. Highly recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed!

The food here is always fantastic and I love the way that they change the menu on a seasonal basis so there is always something new to try. Service is always great and they are really responsive to messages when booking. I’ve had to move bookings before and they are really accommodating and understanding. They care just as much about serving excellent quality food as they do offering excellent customer service. We are so lucky it is so close to us.

I’ve been to the Queen Inn a few times now and recently visited with 3 friends for the festive menu. We all tried different things on the menu and were blown away by how tasty the food was. In particular, I loved the Mint Choc Cheesecake- it was absolutely delicious! What I love about their menus is that you can tell so much thought has gone into coming up with each dish- as a vegan, it’s common to feel overlooked so it’s great to find a 100% vegan place with so much choice. I thoroughly recommend this place! It’s always worth booking though, especially at the weekend as they’re so popular!

The Queen is just up the road from us and is our favourite local pub, even more so since going vegan. It's amazing to have so much choice in an area where we aren't used to having specific vegan/veggie options. We no longer have to go to Bristol or Cardiff! Also they are amazing with Dogs, our retriever won't walk past without trying to go in.

First time I came here we were running really late and would have missed the cut off for ordering food. We called through to let them know and they very kindly kept the kitchen open for us. The food was amazing and despite us being so late we weren't rushed at all so I vowed I would come back. We have just had a pre christmas dinner there were so many options that we all chose differently and tried each others. We ate like Kings and whilst it's not cheap, the size of the portions and quality of the food we think it's really good value. Its not just dog friendly they are really welcomed in with special treats, blankets and food to order! The only disappointment for me is you are an hour away so we can't come every week.
