Unreal pub grub - Edit
The place had traditional pub vibes with locals even watching football in the bar area. The food was amazing! We had the sharing mixed grill and were absolutely stuffed by the end.

Great vegan pub - Edit
I can't rate The Queen Inn highly enough! The staff are so friendly and clearly really exited about about what they are producing. As vegans it's great to be able to choose from an entire menu, with options for those who like meat alternatives and those who do not. We had chilli beef ( on the waitresses recomendation) and it was amazing. We then had hunters chicken and juicy marbles fillet, both were outstanding.
Read moreWe had such a lovely meal that we went back for lunch the next day, we had a chicken burger and fish and chips, again both were great.
We can't wait to visit again.
Oct 25...Back again for Sunday roast, Steak and Ale pie and Mustard and herb crusted beef...my goodness how lovely 😍

An absolute gem of a place - Edit
I first visited in February 2022 when it had not long become fully vegan. This is my first time back to the area since (October 2025) and it’s great to see it going from strength to strength. Absolutely top notch food, generous portions and not over priced. It’s a must visit for anyone who enjoys good food.

So good - Edit
We booked for Sunday lunch & enjoyed everything we ordered. There was a good choice of starters-we had mac & cheese, and mushroom pate on pinsa bread. The starters were good sized portions. The mains were delicious-my herb crusted beef was tender and tasty & served with a Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, sprouts, carrots, and peas & roast potatoes. We also had the herb chicken served with the same accompaniments. I would have liked more veg-as 2 sprouts, 1 slice of parsnip & 2 roasties seemed a bit frugal- but the plate was full so perhaps I’m just fond of vegetables!

We would never have found this place, had it not been for Happy Cow, but so glad we did. The menu selection is amazing! Good size portions, friendly, laid back atmosphere and great service. Even our dog loved it….. the doggy sausages went down a treat. Well worth a visit if you are anywhere near the area, even if it means a bit of a drive.

Amazing - Edit
We always come out of our way to visit the Queen Inn, incredible food every time, and so many options available! When we visited they were running a ‘reduced’ summer menu, which still had an incredible array of options available!

Vegan Heaven - Edit
This is in an idyllic location with duck pond at the front. A friendly down to earth local pub discreetly serving the most amazing Vegan food. We have been twice now, we were allowed to stay overnight in our camper last year but needed to head home this time. We bravely took on the ultimate sharer this time but brought lots home in order to fit in a piece of caramel cheesecake.

Extremely basic - Edit
So, my fiancé and I drove three hours from the Midlands based on all the great reviews we’d seen. The waitress was friendly, but service was slow, and we didn’t get the warmest welcome at the bar when we walked in.
Read moreAs for the food, the roast dinners were pretty basic. You could tell from the picture I took, and honestly, the roast potatoes were horrible. They were hard like cardboard and not fresh at all, which was disappointing since we were at the very first Sunday lunch sitting.
The veggies were bland, and the gravy was thick and lumpy without much flavor. We were a bit surprised to see a Yorkshire pudding on the plate since that’s not usually vegan, and while it was nice they included it, it ended up soggy.
We also tried the cauliflower cheese tart, which sounded great but didn’t really deliver, and the sage and onion breaded tofu just tasted like plain tofu with breadcrumbs—very bland and underwhelming.
They did have a nice range of alcohol-free drinks, which we appreciated, but a lot of the menu relied on highly processed alternatives that we try to avoid. We can’t comment on how those dishes tasted, but from what we saw, they didn’t look all that appealing either.
In the end, I can’t give this place five stars just because it’s vegan—that wouldn’t be honest. Sadly, non-vegan places are doing better food than this, and it’s a shame because we really do want to support vegan spots.

Always wanted to come here! It did not disappoint. We drove for 2 hours to come for dinner, and my god, we may commute every week!! Beautiful backdrop, lovely friendly staff, and the food is honestly the best vegan food I've ever eaten! I had l%mb burger onion rings and salt and pepper chips, while the better half had mac and cheese with shredded juicy marbles on ( a whole juicy marbles I might add)with potatas bravas mouth wateringly goood!! Haha and I had chocolate orange jaffa cake (cake) which was incredible while she had biscorff cheesecake, again just stunning! Honestly I can't praise the food , the people , the place all made with love! WE WILL BE BACK SOON!! 💚💚💚💚

Faultless. The location is great; the food is great; the staff are great; and the price is excellent. Recommend it unreservedly. Clean, quiet, busy - popular with families and regulars by the look of things. We drive an hour out of our way to try it and it was worth every inch of the journey! Be warned: the deserts are enormous ‘

Visited for lunch on the way to West Wales. If there were rooms, we'd have stayed on the way back to try more of the menu!
Read moreI had the mac n cheese with "ribs" and the other half had the "lamb" burger. Both were the very best versions of each we've had to date, and I stopped eating meat in 1991, so I've had a fair number by this point in my life! Our dog was also delighted with his sausages.
Great service from a friendly staff team and such a lovely location.
