Lunch at the Queen Inn - Edit
Phenomenal, sublime. Run there, don't walk. Choice of a fully vegan menu amazing.
Read moreSecond visit there (we live in Australia) so average once every 3 years.
Booking essential, it's very popular, and rightly so.

So many choices and generous portions! - Edit
A (pleasantly) overwhelming choice to please all, even the elderly carnivores in the group. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. Friendly owners and cozy establishment. Save room for dessert if you can!

Totally worth the trip! - Edit
Wow!! I’ve wanted to visit for years, and it did not disappoint! From the delightful duck pond outside to the super friendly waitress on arrival, everything was perfect. We wanted to order everything on the menu, so asked for recommendations. The food was delicious! Everything vegan, everything amazing! We ordered a bit too much and had to take some back with us. I highly recommend this beautiful vegan pub. Definitely order the Queen Combo and the lamb kofte!

Incredible Food & Portion Sizes - Edit
I can see why this is so highly rated within the vegan community, as there were soo many great options at fair prices. We ordered the Queen Combo meal and it was amazing to try all the different foods. The apple pie for dessert was also incredible.

Above and beyond my (already very high) expectations - Loved it - Edit
I had very high expectations and they were beyond met! The only difficulty is trying to decide what to choose from such an extensive menu. The char siu is definitely one to try, and we took some fudge cake away to have later.

No other place like it - Edit
The menu is massive and is entirely vegan, they also accommodate people who can't eat gluten, which is extremely rare. The food is unreal in taste, the portions are big, the prices are small. The drink selection is great, the staff are very knowledgeable regarding allergies and are super friendly. Desserts are always changing and are always incredible. The building itself is in a quiet location with a big car park, there is a massive beer garden for the summer with plenty of outdoor seating for bigger groups. The pub itself is dog friendly for well behaved pooches, and they even have options for dogs on the menu. There is no way anything other than a 5 star rating for this place is acceptable. If you haven't been here before, please do!

A great place, with a really extensive, interesting vegan menu. The “steaks” were terrific, so too the tofu fish and chips and desserts. Friendly and helpful service too.

Excellent, even carnivores enjoyed - Edit
My wife and I took our family, all carnivores enjoyed the meat substitute meals, we found something for everyone, 3 of us very picky usually (1 vegan, 1 limited meats and 1 weird), so very pleased. Will come again. Waitress lovely and helpful. Surroundings are idyllic. Love the dog friendly side too.

OMG 🤤 - Edit
We had the BEST meal here. We were using a voucher so went all out and basically tried everything! The steaks are *incredible*. They also allow dogs and campervans so we stayed overnight, and they’ve got a sweet little community garden and ducks too 🦆

Traditional pub - veganised! - Edit
Traditional pub that you wouldn't suspect to be vegan until looking at the menu, nice scenic location and cosy inside. I had the chicken caesar burger which was really good and had a great chicken alternative. My partner went for the redefine meat steak which he enjoyed although it was a little too real in texture for me. We also got the mushroom wings to share which were nice but feel would have been better if they used oyster mushrooms. We were so full from the large portions we didn't have room for dessert.

Firstly and importantly i have to acknowledge and thank the super friendly, helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome. Menu is varied and reasonably priced. We couldn't choose so went for a sharers combo, a side and a main so we could try a little of everything. Couple of hours drive and came especially.... Will be back again. Must try - Edit
This place was one of the main reasons we decided to visit the area. It was lovely to walk into a pub knowing we could have anything on the menu! I went for the tofish and chips, which was perfect. The portions are big and fairly priced. We also had a mocha afterwards which was great. The staff were very friendly and even fit us in before our booked time slot… Highly recommend! Make sure you book because it was very busy.

Christmas Dinner 2024 - Edit
The service was super speedy! We had to prebook and preorder our festive menu but when it came out it was absolutely delicious. We had the faux grois, pr*wn cocktail, Maple Glazed fillet roast dinner (complete with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings) and Yule log and black forest Cheesecake for dessert. Wonderful atmosphere in the pub, too!

Spectacular food, friendly staff, cosy environment - Edit
Just had a 3 course Christmas dinner there and it was fantastic.
Read moreHad a Cheesy garlic bread starter to share, which was a great size for two.
Then for my main I had a 'Tournedos Rossini' which is basically a Christmas roast including a 3D printer vegan meat flank which was unlike any vegan meat I've ever tried before. Sided by a wide range of stuffing balls, 'pigs' in blankets, Yorkshire pud and roast veg.
For desert I enjoyed a delicious cheese cake, and the entire meal was fantastic, carried to the table by lovely and friendly staff.
We are keen to return when they are running their normal menu to try their big range of food.
Highly recommend.
Pros: 3D printed vegan meats , One of the best gravys I've had, Friendly staff
