Ate here 3 out of 4 nights I was in Edmonton!! I would highly recommend eating the Moth spaghetti, it was really really really really good!!

They just opened a new location in West Edmonton Mall in RAAS! Perfect for a quick clean bite before heading out to the slides for the day! We had the GF bagel with avocado and young coconut bacon and I had them modify the Bahn Mi to use the GF bagel for the base. Both were divine!!

Happy I finally got to try the food at the Moth Cafe. We had the pate, the bahn mi, and a curry pot pie. All three dishes we delicious, although the pate was a bit too finely blended, it was almost more a dip than a pate. The bahn mi was really delightful, I loved the little morsels of faux chicken and the pickled carrots added great crunch. The pot pie had excellent flavor as well. As some of the other reviews mention, the portion sizes here are a bit small. Two of us ate the three dishes, and we could have probably split a dessert still. But overall, a very pretty place with a nice variety of dishes.

The Moth is a welcome addition to Edmonton’s food scene. As a plus, it is also totally vegan. I’ve eaten here with non-vegan friends, and they raves about the food. It is seriously good.

Wonderful experience - Edit
I recently went to The Moth Cafe for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The decor is beautiful, especially the lighting, and the place is uber clean, just like it's sister resto, Cafe Mosaics. Unlike Cafe Mosaics, The Moth became fully vegan shortly after opening, by eliminating a drink or drinks with bee pollen, and this is greatly appreciated by the considerable amount of vegans in our city. I was immediately greeted by my spectacular server, Karol-Ann. I was delighted to see "Moth Spaghetti," a dish that was once served at Cafe Mosaics and was disappointingly removed from their menu. I was not disappointed by my choice and had enough for left-overs, making this dish a really good value for the price. A delicious, comforting meal, in a beautiful environment with stellar service.

My first trip to The Moth will definitely NOT be my last! I was happy with the food and the beverages I ordered. I snorked down the food so fast that I forgot to take a picture. So just take my word for it: it was as beautiful as it was delicious!! Am looking forward to my next visit!
