Menú of the day consists starter main dessert and wine or water. Loads of choices and the food was big portion and tasty. Only 9.25 euro. Highly recommended

I loved this place. The waiter was fast to give me a tabel and take my order. I ordered the maxi wrap with guacamole and vegan cheese and it was so good! The plate was super big (maybe a bit to big for one person in my opinion) so I would recommend to share if your not super hungry (it consists of 2 wraps cut to four pieces and guacamole). I’m definitely coming back here.

Read moreFor me food was too fat so I felt a bit sick later (that happens to me after a junk food but I didn’t expect it here). And they don’t serve cola but come on the food is not healthy, I want all this fat with my coke.
A menu “soup/hummus main course dessert” for 10€ is a good offer and the portions are huge.
Got a chili soy marked with two peppers in the menu but it wasn’t spicy at all lol. Price is also about 10€ and the meal makes you full.
Have to mention apple crumble - small one but really tasty.

There is such a nice vibe here compared to the indifference in most Spanish places. The menu is extensive, and the waitress was super patient and helpful explaining things in very good English. We got Nepalese momos, which were good, but nothing like ones we have had at a Nepalese restaurant in the past. They were steamed and served with a mild curry sauce. We both had soups that were fantastic, and seitan cutlets in a gravy. So this isn't fancy food; the seitan was sliced off a larger loaf I'm guessing. The little side salad was a bit of shredded cabbage and beet. But everything was really tasty and inexpensive. And it was a nice experience. The décor is all bright murals and it's pretty.

I’ve read a lot of reviews, even the bad ones and didn’t expect much from this place. I went with carni friend and I didn’t tell her about the bad reviews. She liked it very much and specially the option of veggie burger without the patty. I should’ve taken that one too. Burger in a patty was good, but very dry. Strawberry lemonade was super good. Also get the hibiscus mint tea, yum!

The food here is exactly the same as their first restaurant. All vegan, but not especially tasty. They put a few shards of a papadom on the thali plate. They will not give you tap water - so you have to buy a large bottle of water.

UPDATE: My original review is too harsh. The food is a bit bland, but otherwise it is very fresh and I’ve eaten here many times. They seem to have expanded the menu a lot, and have some good offerings.

We had the daily special (just under 10 Euros per person) - a good price for a nice large amount of decent homemade food (starters, mains and desserts) as well as drinks all included. The atmosphere has a sort of trendy-cafeteria style ambience with table service and a juice bar. Staff seemed super stressed with what seemed like a cranky manager, but service and quality were up to par despite that factor. If I lived in the neighbourhood I would definitely visit this place often.

Veggie Garden has two restaurants in Barcelona. Both have many reviews on Happy Cow. The good reviews and the proximity to my hotel were reason to visit Veggie Garden.
Read moreThe menu is trilingual (no pictures though) and presents the customer with a bit of a problem: too much of a good thing! Everything sounds delicious and when looking at pictures of the food on Happy Cow, it's still hard to decide. Veggie Garden offers Indian food, Japanese food, European food, Spanish tapas and even burgers. I opted for my favourite kitchen: Indian. With samosa as a starter and biryani as the main dish.
The waiters aren't too courteous, but this may be a cultural thing. They did understand English and they did take my order without error. The samosa arrived quickly and... it's huge! This starter alone would be sufficient as a small meal. Seconds after finishing the samosa the main dish was brought. The biryani looks good and has a lot of different ingredients (as it should be). It isn't spicy at all (which it should have been, in my opinion) and the essential herb that turns a rich rice dish into biryani was missing. Yet, I enjoyed every bite.
Would I recommend Veggie Garden? If you want a high quality meal, a quiet date or a festive meal: no. The ingredients are of average quality, the place is packed, music is playing loud and it's just too busy to enjoy the time. If you want decent food at a decent price, then yes! Veggie Garden offers a good product at a good price. I came in hungry, I left satisfied. Veggie Garden is popular for good reason!

Tienen un menú amplio aunque opte el menú por ca 10 euros. Comí sopa de lentejas como entrante y rollo de calabacín relleno de verduras. La comida me gusto, era sabroso y el precio razonable. Si visita el restaurante un sábado puede haber cola para entrar dependiendo de la hora.
