Hip Industrial Vibes Make This New Cafe/Kitchen a Cool Place to Go!

I heard there was a new restaurant in the neighborhood I went to check it out. The place is still on the banks of the Schuylkill river and overlooks the river and a blue metal bridge that connects Bala-Cynwyd with the manyunk East Falls area. The scene is architecturally very stunning as it includes the old industrial sheets of metal and beams from when the area was an old warehouse. Now it's home to this new restaurant café and a Marriott hotel.
Both the indoor and outdoor space have stunning aspects to them. On a beautiful spring day, like the one where I first visited the place, it was lovely with trees and plenty of both shady and sunny areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The noise from the new highway was a little bit loud but the building helped shield some of that. The indoor space is also very spacious and full of a bunch of windows that bring in the outdoor light. The place has Internet for anyone who wants to get a little work done and ample parking as well.
The place has a very well rounded menu with ample options for plant-based folks, vegans and vegetarians. The café menu offers vegan selections and vegan pastries from a local vegan bakery. They have food options for vegan as well. Hopefully in the future look at more options. I do know that they are working on getting a liquor license so they can have a bar on site as well. It will be a very cool place to hang out in the evenings once that is set up! Glad to welcome a place like this to the neighborhood!

Okay, nothing fancy

The food was okay. Limited vegan options but small menu all around. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Good place if you want to grab a quick salad.

Cons: Limited vegan options , A little pricey

Nice atmosphere, limited vegan options

Beautiful space outside with great views. The food, though, leaves something to be desired. If you’re in the mood for a treat from Crust, a grain bowl, or avocado toast (without cheese), this place will do. If you’re looking for a variety of menu options, this isn’t the spot.

Pros: Great outdoor seating, Crust pastries

Cons: Limited vegan options, Expensive
